I'm so sorry I took too long to write this, I keep changing my mind on plots and stuff. I finally came up with a slightly decent idea. Anyways enjoy!

Highschool AU

"Everyone get a one whole sheet of paper, were having a surprise quiz" everyone groaned in annoyance as they went to their own bags to fetch out their pads of paper.

You opened your bag and almost screamed in frustration, you left your paper back home and you know how the teacher will get angry when someone asks their seatmate for paper.

But if you didn't ask for paper, you would miss the test, so you took the risk. It's just a scold anyways. You leaned close to your seatmate, tapping his shoulder. He turned to you and immediately backed away, seeing your close faces and blushed in deep red. "Kusei-kun can I have a peice of paper?" You asked as quietly as you could, though even how much you lowered your voice, the teacher still heard it from in front of the class.

"What did I tell you about asking for paper, miss l/n" he asked in a warning tone, sending you a look. "I left my paper back home. I'm sorry Tomioka-sensei it won't happen again" you heard your bestfriend, Shinobu, snicker in the front row, earning a glare from you.

"You have 60 minutes to answer these questions on the board. Remember no talking and absolutely no cheating, understand?"he asked, earning a quick 'yes sir' from the class.

"Ok, your 60 minutes starts, now" he announced and sat on his teacher's desk observing all of the students like a hawk. As soon as you read the first question, you felt like smacking your head on your desk.

Within a few minues into the test, your heard your classmates whispered to themselves, scratching their head. You leaned to your seatmate for the second time. He looked flustered and scratched his head. "hey, how do you answer number 20?" You asked silently.

"You have to evaluate it and then simplify the answer" he points to the numbers on his paper and explained them. "Wow you're really good at math" you complimented sending him a close eyed smile. He turned red and laughed nervously. "Thank you" he thanked, shyly.

"I said no talking, 2nd warning miss l/n and mister Kagaya" he sent both of you a dark look which caused both of you to sit properly, earning a tease from your classmates. Tomioka shushed them and continued to watch all of the students.

Every question took a lot of minutes to answer for you, pinching the bridged of your nose as a habit when you think deeply. Have you experienced knowing the answer but the words are all jumbled in your head? No?

You were distracted by the murmuring of other students and at the corner of your eye, you saw a classmate smack their head on their desk quietly. The room was filled with stressed students and a hawk-like teacher. You hear mumbles like what the hell is this?, how the heck?, what?,Hah?, I'm tired.

"Okay times up, pass your papers" everybody in the room except Tomioka groaned and passed their papers in devastation as you stifle a laugh at the one student in the front who checked their pulse in the wrist, checking if they were still alive or not.

The bell rang, signalling that it was time to go home. Students packed their things and rushed out of the room leaving you lightheaded from being pushed around by other students.

Shinobu hooked her arm on yours, both starting to walk out of the room but you were called by the teacher. Shinobu rolled her eyes and nodded at you, signalling you that she'll wait for you.

You made your way to the teacher's desk. "Yes?" You asked as you watch him organize the papers and folders on his table. He looked at you with his deep blue eyes seriously. "You really like to tease that boy, don't you?" He raised one of his eyebrows.

You set down you bag on his desk and placed your hands on your hips. "What ever do you mean?" You smirked, he made his way towards you and circled his arms around your waist. "You know he likes you right?" You chuckled and wrapped your arms around his neck. "I can't help it, you're so cute when you're jealous" he scrunched his nose and leaned in, giving you a quick peck on the lips.

You ran your hands on the dark circles on his eyes, "you haven't been sleeping well" you said in a worried tone. He pulled back and sat down at his chair, "yeah, I wanted to finish the test papers as early as possible" he covered his face with his hand, sighing.

You sat down at his desk, crossing your legs. You know you can't ask him to take a break, all you can do is cheer him up. "You can do it, Giyuu. It's almost the end of the year" you sent him a reassuring smile which he tried to return.

You heard a knock on the door causing both of you to turn your heads. "Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds but y/n, your brother's waiting for you at the entrance it's time to go". After saying that, she left without another word. You stood up and fixed your skirt.

He stood up and hugged you, snuggling his face on your neck and whispered, "I'm so tired" he mumbled. You chuckled and hugged him, patting his back. "See you tomorrow, Giyuu" you both pulled back and waved at each other before you turned your back to him and left the room.

At the entrance, you saw Shinobu and Muichiro standing and waiting for you. You all walked home together and stopped at the Kochou pharmacy which is owned by Shinobu's sister.

She said goodbye to both of you, leaving you two to walk in silence for a moment before Muichiro decided to break the silence. "Nee-san, remember if he hurts you, you can't stop me. I will hurt him" he looked at you with concern and seriousness.

You chuckled, pulling him into a hug. "Please don't do that, Mu-chan" you ruffled his hair, earning a groan of annoyance. "I've been meaning to ask what that thing on your skirt pocket" he pointed his finger to your pockets.

You looked down and saw a peice of paper. Giyuu must've sneaked it in when you we're hugging him. You pulled out the paper and read it in our head. I love you..

You chuckled and put it back in your pockets. How cheesy, Giyuu.
