chapter 4

*Serria's POV*

"Are you gonna get in?" Said the boy.

Ugh I grabbed my luggage and then hop into the passenger seat.

"So where are we going on this fine place today? He asked. I'm going to 345 Forrest drive. "Oh you must be Cathy's granddaughter, Serria? He asked questioned

Yes I am.

Well I am Matthew but call me Matt.

We quickly pulled up to the drive I got out and grabbed my stuff ran into the small little corner house.

I walked into the house and seen Gramma, she pulled me in for a hug.it was close to 11pm and I was so tired form all the traveling I decided to call it a night.

I walked up to the guest bedroom it was a double bed with a night stand in the corner along side a two matching dressers and a desk.

It was pretty outdated but it would do. As I was about to fall asleep I was thinking about how I never wanted to see Matthew or Matt ever again.

Who did he think he was just telling me to get into his car but whatever I seen him once and I plan on never seeing him again!

Soon after that I was just so tired I fell asleep.

*Next day*

I was awakened by the sound of rain pounding against the small little window.

I decided to put on a tank top with fuzzy PJ bottoms then make my way down stairs. I seen a note on the kitchen table that said: hey hunny I just stepped out to get groceries I'll be back soon.

I went and looked in the pantry and there was little selection. Uh hmm ill have toast I muttered to my self.

"Are you sure you will just have toast?" Said Matt.  Um how did you get in here you do know there is such thing as privacy! I ragged.

yes but I have the spare key I help your Gramma out a lot I do the usually grocery shopping for her" he said back cocky.

Well good morning to you to! As he put the bags on the table I seen cereal ouuu my favorite Lucky Charms. I sat down and poured myself a bowl.

As Matt was leaned up against the door frame with his half crocked smile looking at me I seen Gramma walk in. She looked like she was in a rush to get somewhere. She looked at me then said a mouthful of words I could not understand.

"Okay I gotcha." Said Matthew

They talked so well it was almost like they were married. Next thing you know Gramma is gone and Matthew is telling me to grab my bathing suit.

I asked why but he just said get in the car I'll tell you on the way there. I went a grabbed my Bikini off my bed and got in the car.

Now will you tell me!

Your Gramma was late for work at the pine club and because she got me a job there she wants me to take you to the pool at the pine club for the say when we are at work. That's all? I said "yep"said Matt.

Matt parked the car and we both got out. He showed me where the pool was then where he would be for today. As I went into the change room to put on my bikini, ugh I said as I was putting on my top it got to small I guess I am a C cup now I muttered.

Then I was to distracted at the point when I was playing with my belly button piercing  I lost track of time.

I walked out of the change room then went and found my self a spot on the lawn chairs. After I was all settled I pulled out my phone and put my favorite song Beside you on by 5sos and relaxed.

About an hour later Matt and some other guy came up to me I sat up and took the ear buds out of my ear " wow dude now I know why you always talk about her!" Said the boy

"NASH" said Matt. "What she's hot" Nash said.

So what are you doing here I asked "oh we just came to  tell you my shift is over are you coming back with us?" Asked Matt. Sure

I got changed quickly then when and met up with the boys. Matt dropped Nash off then me and him went back to my house.

We got back to the parking lot and Matt asked me about my life so I answered him : well obviously my name is Serria, I'm  16 I'm going into grade 12. Wait your like a stranger why am I telling you about my life. I asked in confusion.

"Well if you don't want to be strangers keep talking" said Matt.

I have to go bye I said

I hopped out of the car and walked into the house. I walked up to my room and and just processed all my thoughts, but most about Matt. Why did it feel so right to tell Matt about myself. He is spouse to be the guy I hate I thought to my self.

As I was laying on my bed with ear buds in  I could feel myself slowly drifting off to sleep but when I could feel someone breathing on me I knew it was Matt.

But tomorrow is Friday so I will be doing a whole new chapter this is just because I was bored and hockey was canceled.
