Lion Isn't Lion Anymore

Steven thinks, "Something's been going on with lion lately... He's been acting kinda strange, and the Crystal Gems and I can't figure out why. Garnet has the feeling that his trying to tell us something...Something...important. For some reason I get the feeling that that 'important something' has to do with Pink Diamond. I don't know why... but I just have that feeling. And I can't shake it off no matter what I do! Whatever this is about, it's connected to Lion. And today... I'm gonna find out why."

"Come on, Lion! You know something about Pink Diamond, right? Please, we need to know!" , said Steven.
Then Lion stared at Steven, Lion closed his eyes and his chest was glowing, pretty much where his heart is. His thick long mane began to move out of the way of his chest. All the Crystal Gems all started gasping in shock, suddenly Lion began to show his 'Gem' in his chest. Lion started to transform into a living Gem!

"Hello Steven." said the mystery Gem,
"LION?!", Steven shouted in shock.
Amethyst then also said questionably, "Rose's Lion...was...another Pearl?!"
Our Pearl that is part of the Crystal Gems face suddenly went red as a Ruby. Tears in her eyes, eyes wide as the Earth...
"What is the meaning of this...?!", our Pearl said tearfully, "Why does Rose have another Pearl?! Why didn't she tell me?!"
Then Garnet told Pearl to calm down, Pearl was furious, embarrassed, shocked, and sad. She was mixed with many emotions.

Pink Pearl said with no facial expression, "Rose knew you'd be upset, so I stayed a lion. I had to conceal my identity."
The Lapis Lazuli then said, "Wait, I recognise you! You were... Pink Diamond's... You were Pink Diamond's Pearl!"
"Pink Diamond? I've heard of her! But didn't she disappear over thousands of years ago? What happened to her?", Peridot said with confusion.
"That's what I'm here for. To tell you... how my Diamond died.", Pink Pearl told them.
