Chapter 14: Winter Fun

The following morning had arrived, Marcus laid in bed asleep as his alarm clock turned

to 7:00 am and the alarm went off waking him up he pressed the snooze button as he

grabs his glasses next to the alarm clock and he gets up slowly yawning as he rubbed

his eye,

"Another day in paradise."

He got up from bed as he went into the kitchen taking a cup out from the cupboards and

pours himself some orange juice as he walks outside to grab the newspaper, but once

he did a small gust of cold wind blew as Marcus was surprised to see the entire outside

was covered in snow,

"Oh my gosh, John! Javik wake up guys!" Marcus shouted as John and Javik came out

of their rooms still half asleep.

"What is so important that you had to wake us up Marcus," John said.

"Why don't you see for yourselves," Marcus said as he opened the front door as they

see all the snow all around.

"What in the world it actually snowed here oh man," John said.

"Oh man is right I love the snow," Javik said.

"Well then let's grab out coats and head out in the snow guys," Marcus said.

"Now that's something I can get behind," John said.

As they all grab their coats from their closets their warmups and gloves as they run

outside playing in the snow and throwing snowballs at each other.

At the girls house, they all still laid in bed asleep as Ripley heard the guys shouting and

laughing.

She groans in a bit as she places her pillow over her head trying to muffle out the noise,

but she can still hear them she gets out of bed quickly walking to her window as she

opens it,

"Hey can you all shush please!" Ripley said as she then looked around seeing all the

snow.

"Oh sorry Ripley didn't mean to wake you we just got excited about the snow we'll be

heading inside now," Marcus said.

"Oh it's okay no problem, I—I just didn't know it snowed," Ripley said.

"Nor did we, we just found out a bit ago," Marcus said.

"I see well thanks by the way guys," Ripley said as she pulled her head back inside and

closed the window as the guys went back inside the house.

"Man I can't believe it though we finally see snow man back home there was barely any

snow," John said.

"You're telling me man I just didn't think we would ever see snow," Marcus said.

"It was fun being able to play in the snow, but what should we do now," Javik asked.

"Well since the holidays are arriving soon we should take this opportunity to decorate

the house with some Christmas lights and other things," Marcus said.

"Oh I like that idea," John said.

"We have some in the basement that I brought when I moved in with you guys," Javik
