The Terra Blade: A Brief History

Once, there was a being of unlimited power. This being sought happiness and joy, and created a universe out of nothing. In this universe the being formed seven lords out of dust and entrusted to them the fate of the universe. It gave the lords similar power to the entity, and gave them authority over the seven regions of the universe. But mysteriously, this entity disappeared, leaving what it had made eventually fall into chaos. Greed, lust and envy had driven the lords insane, twisting their minds and made them power hungry and dreamt to rule the universe and make everyone else their slaves. All lords except one, the great and wise one who could still see a future to this universe, a future where the seven regions of the universe could come together as one, as one nation, where they will live in harmony. This lord immediately went to work in secrecy, and in a faraway part of it's region, it constructed a planet. This planet was made out of special elements, and with the lord's essence it gave this world many gifts, and as the world was finished, the lord named it Terraria. One day will be home to the people who will rise against the lords and establish peace. The lord then sacrificed itself, dissipating and transferring it's body, soul and consciousness into the heart of Terraria, to ensure the awaited future.

Skipping over a few billion years of history, we arrive at the point where the chosen people were to take a step forward and start to rebel against the evil lords, but they were unaware of their existence, and only thought the evil was the Corruption, Crimson and Hallow, whose origins were outside of the system. Four individuals had obtained four swords, elements of their home. Fire, corruption, grass, and spirit. They combined the four swords into a powerful weapon, called the Night's Edge. They entrusted this sword to one of them, a brave, wise, strong and leader worthy of wielding the weapon. He would use it to greatness, but it's power had corrupted the man. He had sought to conquer the world, but unfortunately he lost the sword and his life to a gigantic moth in a solar eclipse. Another individual, a prince who had fine riches ordered his best forgers and collectors to get a special metal from the Hallow. The forgers then melted down this substance, and forged a blade that represents the light and has never known defeat. The Excalibur, the king used it to battle against evil armies and prevail. He was good, but he too lost the sword in a solar eclipse, to the same beast. However, one special person had gathered all the broken sword pieces and fragments and tried to arrange them like a jigsaw puzzle. With dryad spells and black magic, he fixed the two swords and restored about 80% of their original power. However, he was determined to bring it up to 100%. After gathering samples from every place in Terraria, he examined it and made the best possible combinations. He then applied these "power-boosters" to the two swords, and eventually restored their original power, but also improved their old statistics. Then with the help of other dryads, they combined both swords into a legendary weapon. The Terra Blade. However, what else happened to it is a mystery, but people have said they found fragments of it scattered around the whole world. Until then, a group of the chosen people have set their goal to first locate all the fragments, repair the damage, combine both swords, obtain the Terra Blade, and then rise against evil. Their heroic journey, is the first crucial step against the lords, and will inevitably make them notice. Will they continue?
