Legends of Mythica

Chapter 1: New Neighbors

Mythica, a world where for many tales lived beings with magic and supernatural abilities

root down from their legendary ancestors from old myths, but for this new world comes

to fall in the city of New Metro where their stories are retold.

With just two more weeks until the summer comes to an end kids are rushing to get

started and prepared for their new school year but not as ready as some others will be.

In a small neighborhood just outside the city a large moving truck pulls up to a house

that was for sale and behind the moving truck a large white truck pulls up to the

driveway and a young boy named Marcus steps out of the truck and admires his new

home.

He smiled, breathed in the air, and exhaled lightly,

"A new home a new neighborhood and soon my first day of college this is gonna be

awesome."

A motorcycle then pulls up to the driveway parking right behind Marcus's truck, the man

takes off his helmet and looks at the house,

"So this is our new house Marcus?" John asked.

"Eyup a new place for a new life," Marcus said.

John steps off his motorcycle,

"Ye got that right and best of all," he wrapped his arm around Marcus's neck a noogies

his head,

"my roommate is my best friend."

The two boys laugh, "Come on let's check out the house," Marcus said as he and John

both walked inside the house as they both smiled at the sight of finally having a place to

call their own and finally away from their parents.

"Dude, this is awesome," John said.

"You got that right, from what the real estate told me this house has about three

bedrooms; two on the second floor and one here on the ground floor, we even have a

basement and a greenhouse outside, and a large kitchen, and let's not forget our own

bathrooms in our rooms," Marcus said.

"Sweet finally my own privacy, now I can finally take long showers without my parents

nagging at me so much," John said.

"Just don't go to overboard buddy, don't forget we still gotta pay the rent around here,"

Marcus said.

"Pssfh, don't worry about that with our part time jobs we'll be able to pay rent and pay

for groceries, so were set for whatever hits us," John said.

"Alright just like I said, don't go overboard man we have to keep track on what we spend

we still have to pay for our college as well," Marcus said.

"Don't worry I will," John said.

"Alright then, let's get to unloading our stuff off the truck and then we can order some

Chinese or something for dinner," Marcus said.

John quickly rushed outside and started unloading boxes off of the truck.
