I walked into Creamy Creations with a smile still on my face.

"Hazel, over here!" Zoe called out, waving her hand above her head. She gave a weird look at me and smiled, "Let me guess, you were with Zach?"

"How'd you know?" I asked, confused.

"With that smile on your face, anyone could tell that you were with your special someone," she teased.

"Whatever, I'm getting a Red Velvet cupcake, you?"

"Hmmmm," Zoe looked over at the menu, "Vanilla Angel sounds good right now,"

"Okay, it's on me this time,"

Zoe gave me a surprised look, "Wow, this girl over here has been bitten by a love bug or something......I kinda like it,"

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the counter. Creamy Creations was a little cafe at the corner of Lakeview Drive. It also had bookshelves filled with books that you could read and computer stations. Small shops were on this street and we usually come here every week to kill time.

I paid for the cupcakes and brought them back to our table.

"So, what happened to your dress you were wearing?" Zoe asked raising an eyebrow and smirking.

I gave her a look, "Really?"

"No, really. What happened to it? You changed like ten times for a 'perfect outfit'," Zoe said, making imaginary quotations with her fingers.

"It got all wet,"

Zoe raised both of her eyebrows, "Woah, okay TMI,"

"Zoe!" I exclaimed and laughed, "We went into the ocean, thats why I'm wearing his clothes,"

"Mmmhhmm," Zoe said not believing me, "Next thing you'll know, you'll be sniffing that thing like crazy at night because you miss him so much even though you just saw him,"

"Ha, yeah right I'm not that crazy and how would you know that anyway?"

"Ummm hello, have you not seen any movies or read a book? They do stuff like that all the time," Zoe explained, "Geez, where have you been? Oh wait, that's right. With Zach,"

"You're just jealous cause he gets more attention than you now," I teased.

"Yeah, you got that right," she laughed, "Ha, love is disgusting and weird. Oh and stupid,"

I rolled my eyes once again, which I frequently do all the time with Zoe around, "You've never been in love, and neither have I,"

"So your saying you don't love Zach?" she gasped, "What kind of girlfriend are you?"

"You know what I mean, I don't really know what love is. I don't know if what I'm feeling is real or just lust,"

"Oh please," Zoe took a bite out of her cupcake, "Trust me, you're in love,"

I sighed, there was no point arguing with Zoe. She goes on and on.

"So you went to his house?" Zoe asked with frosting around her mouth.

"Yeah and you got frosting around your mouth," I said, pointing.

"That's probably why you changed," she giggled.

I rolled my eyes once again, "Oh shoot, I left my dress at his house. I guess I have to go back,"

"WOW! You're evening making lame excuses to go see him, told you were in love,"

"I need that dress! It's still wet too and it might shrink or something. I'll forget about it if I don't get it today,"

She raised her eyebrows, "Sureeee,"

"But you promised me that you would go see that movie with me remember?" she reminded.

I groaned, "Ugh, fine. But we're going straight to his house after. Promise?"

She gave me her pinky, "Promise,"

We walked out of the movie theater blinking our eyes to adjust them to the brightness.

Zoe's phone rang, "Hold up. Hello?"

She was silent for a while and then she groaned, "Okay, see you later,"

I gave her a questioning look, "My dad just told me that I have to babysit my brother. He's eight! He should be able to look after himself already!" she exclaimed, "Sorry about that,"

I smiled, "That's okay, I might stay at Zach's for a little,"

"Don't do anything stupid," she said as she walked away, "And make sure you use protection!"

"Zoe!" I exclaimed as she laughed. People gave me disgusted looks as they passed by.

"Thanks a lot Zoe," I whispered and started walking towards Zach's house.

I rang the doorbell and the door opened a minute later.

Zach grinned, "Hey, what brings you here? Did you want to continue on what was happening before?"

"Please," I laughed as I entered, "I left my dress here,"

"Oh, I went to dry it off as soon as you left. He went into a room which I assumed where the laundry was and gave me my dress. As soon as I took it, he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him.

"Oh my gosh Zach! That scared me!" I exclaimed.

He didn't answer and picked me up, "Zach! Put me down!"

"Oh I will, just wait 10 seconds," he said as he carried me up the stairs to his bedroom.

He plopped me on his bed and laid down next to me. I turned my head towards him. He wrapped his arms around me and smiled down at me.

"Remember when we first met?" he asked.

I looked at him curiously, "Of course I do, why?"

"It was a Saturday night and there was a dance we were both invited to,"

"Zach, why are you telling me this? I already know it."

He ignored me and continued telling the story.

"You went with your friends and I was with mine, thinking that we could score something that night,"

I giggled, "Really?"

He smiled, "We both know that I did score something, but I didn't know that until I saw a beautiful girl standing across the dance floor wearing a royal blue gown,"

He kissed me on top of the head, "Believe it or not, I kept my eyes on you the whole night and found out that you weren't taken. Which was surprising,"

I lightly pushed him and laughed,"Yeah right,"

"It's true!" he said, "Anyway, I walked towards you as a slow dance started playing and I asked you for a dance. You said yes in a cute, shy way that made me love you even more. I was so relieved that you said yes because if you didn't, I would have went home and cried all night,"

"Why'd you tell me this when I already know the story?" I ask.

"I wanted to repeat it, so you could hear it in my perspective,"

I put my head on his chest while he took my hand and played with it.

"I still have that dress from that night," I say.

"And I still have that suit," he replied, "I'll always remember that day no matter what happens to us,"

I rolled over so I was laying on my stomach and stared at him.

He stared back smirking, "What?"

"I love you, Zach. I never imagined that I would ever say those three words to anyone, but you made me feel something I've never experience before. Even though it sounds cheesy, I love you. I love you so much,"

Zach grinned at me and put his hand on my cheek. He observed me for a while before saying,

"I love you too,"
