It was a fresh new year here is Elmore Junior High. I was excited upon seeing my best friend , Christie.

But to my surprise, she was with someone....

Someone I never expected to be with her. It was the Miss Show Off Lovelle. Lovelle was the best Show Off here in Elmore Junior High.

I waved and said ,"We need to talk now." I pushed her at a corner of a room and said ,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH LOVELLE?" I shouted.

"I'm hanging out with Lovelle?" She said. "But your my best friend ,Christie." I muttered. "I gotten new friends ,Violet. But we still can be friends." She said ,trying not to hurt me.

"Just friends. Not Best Friends?" I said as a tear flowed down my cheek. "Yes ,just friends." She said walking away.

I can't believe Christie left me behind.
