Irene's POV

"You walked out that door and your career is over." my step dad (but I call him uncle) firmly said.  Geez if that's his tone that means he mean it. I hate him like how I hated my mom. When my dad passed away, I don't understand why does she have to marry someone else. My dad was the best man I've ever known and nobody can ever replace him.I stopped, walked back and sat down again. Right now, I don't have any choice if I wanted to keep my career.

I'm so mad at him. I don't understand why does he have to choose me with this project. And out of all people, I will be with this girl I hated the most at these moment.

"Hmmm is the AC turned on?", she said. She's so irritating my gosh and then uncle chuckled.

"Ms. Kang it's in full blast mode. Are you being suffocated right now?" he said.Then she lowered down her head out of embarassment. Geez.

"I'm sorry about that. Anyways this is the script for the story. The title of the movie is "The President's Daughter". Mr. Lee can you please explain to them everything?"

"Due to the high demand from the LGBTQ, we have considered to produce a movie for them. It's also part of the company's support and campaign for gender equality. Being the 1st and 2nd to the latest ranking survey they gathered, the management decided that the two of you will be perfect on screen partner for this movie."

What the hell? I will be making a gay movie with his girl!Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem with the gays cause I myself is one. At some point, I was scandalized because of that. I had come out and confessed that I'm in a relationship with a girl. I have fought hard for her but at the end of the day, she just left me with someone else. Ughhh a gay movie with a happy ending is the last thing I wanted to do.

"This is ridiculous." I whispered.

" So the story goes like these. The President's daughter whose known to be a cold, evil and spoiled brat fell in love with her personal bodyguard." The story sounds so corny and just imagining that I have to do all those scenes with her ugghh is so annoying.

"In this movie, Irene will be the President's daughter while Seulgi will be the bodyguard.  Just read the whole script as soon as we finished the meeting and shoot me your questions when we meet again." he added.

"Is there any questions right now?" my uncle asked.

"Ahmm when will be the start of the shooting?" she asked.

"Once we organized everything, we will start shooting next week. Just get ready cause as soon as we signed the contract today, we will be releasing the upcoming movie project to the media."

What the heck? That's so soon. "That fast?" I said.

"The sooner the better." he said.

"Are there any more questions?"

She shaked her head. "No more, Mr. President."

"What about you Irene?"

I didn't respond. For sure, he knows already that I don't have any.

"Alright if that's the case then let's sign your contracts already." I'm so pissed off but I don't have any choice but to sign these freaking contracts. It's okay Irene. Just finished this movie with her and that's it everything will be back to normal. And maybe it's a perfect timing, to get to know her and stained her image with her fans.

"Hi Ms. Bae. It's my honor to be working with the best actress in town. Let's do our best." she offered her hand for a shake but I just stand up and walked out. I don't have any intentions of being friends with her. I saw her disappointed face, I felt bad for a sec but I don't care she's a rival.

When I walked out the room, Wendy came. Wendy is my manager and she's the best I must say. She can handle all my shits pretty well.

"Im sorry Irene. My meeting with one of your endorsements just ended. How's the meeting with the President?" I gave her the script.

"That's the script for my new movie."

"Oh so it's a movie?"

"It's a gay movie to be exact." I saw her surprised face.

"Really? Wow it's going to be a hit. This is gonna be the first time that they will have this concept." Then she smirked. "So who's gonna be your leading lady?"

"It's her."

"Her?"

"The newbie that beats me in the survey." Then she put her hands in her mouth exaggerately.

"The Kang Seulgi?"

I nodded. "Oh my gosh. I can finally ask for an autograph with her." she said while I rolled my eyes. Geez I can't believe she's a die hard fan of her too.

Seulgi's POV

I was crying so hard when Joy came in my room.

"What the hell is going on with you Seulgi? Is there anything that happened to auntie?"

I shaked my head and cried even more.

"Then what the hell is going on?" She yelled full of concern.

"It's because of this." I showed her the script.

"What about that?"

"The story is so sad. My character, I felt so sorry for her. From her dad that passed away, to her mom, to her evil step mom and then she died protecting the one she love. Though I'm a little bit relieved that there's an alternate ending. I just hope the director choose the alternate ending where my character is alive." I said while cying still.

"Oh my gosh, I thought something bad happened to you already. But that's good. Relating to your character already." Joy said.

"By the way have you read the news already. They already announced your upcoming movie with Ms. Bae and everybody is getting crazy about it."

"Really?" I asked.

She shaked her head. "I already told you to be more aware of what's happening."

I went to my twitter account and was surprised that the President's Daughter is trending #1, Seulrene in #2, Seulgi Kang in #3, Irene Bae in #4 then JDG broadcasting company in #5. Wait what the hell is Seulrene? I checked on it and there I saw that it's our ship's name. The fans already have come out with that. That's unbelievable.

"Joy have you heard about this Seulrene thing?" I asked her.

"Duh, it's been circulating for a long time already. Seulrene that's your names combined. People where rooting on you guys even before this movie  maybe that's also the reason why the management choose you guys. Well that can't be helped, both of you are the most famous actresses in your generation and I must admit your visuals are just perfect for each other."

I squeaked at what Joy said. "Maybe we're just perfect for each other in general." I added.

Then she laughed. "Don't get your hopes up Kang. I know you have a little crush on her but remember, she hated you with every fiber of her hair."

"You're such a mood killer Joy." I just sighs. "But you're right." I sadly said.

"But who knows, she might think differently towards you when she got to know you." Then my face lights up.

"You think so?"

"Well maybe. Just aim to be friends okay not more than that. I don't want you to get hurt. You know that she's not into relationships anymore after what happened to her"

I sighed again. "I know but maybe I can change that?"

"You're a hopeless case Kang. Well get yourself ready. We're going to meet with them again today. Look at your eyes. Geez crying so hard with that."

"Yah, if I see you ever cry when this movie is out, you'll have to pay me $1000"

"Tch, as if I'll cry." she said.
