The next night Zeke and Cole decided to try out the Remaster Halo, and weren't as popular, although everyone did stop and chat for a bit, and to see what the two were up to. "Hey Z!" Cole asked Zeke.

"Z huh?" Zeke chuckled. "Zeke wasn't short enough for ya?" He shook his head. "What's up?" He admired Cole's blush.

"Why is everyone smiling at us like they're happy?" Cole asked.

"Well." Zeke turned to Cole. "I love the stuffing out of you..."

"And I love the Stuffing out of you!" Cole added with a goofy smirk.

"And that makes me happy!" Zeke grinned. "It is also obvious to everyone else in the house!"He smiled. "And it makes them happy!"

"I don't know what's more terrifying!" Cole sighed. "The fact that I love you this much or the fact that I's been a few days, but I've never been more sure about anything or the fact that it's  obvious to everyone."

"Oh honey, your glowing!" Madisen chuckled.

"I'm what?" Cole blushed.

"That's it right there!" Madisen chuckled. "Your face is always red when you are alone with Zeke." Cole playfully pouted at her. "Well..." She playfully pulled his lip. "At least you're happy." She added with a nod.

She regretted it instantly, when it was clear, that Cole was thinking about his past life. Cole missed his mother, and father, it was delibated his soul, thinking that they would pass long before he would, thinking he was dead. Technically he was dead, but he had never before in his life, felt this alive. He could literally feel how much Zeke loved him, and he loved Zeke that much too. But still...

Cole tried to tell himself, that it might be ok, his parents would one day pass, leaving him alone...  That was of little comfort, it was like they died in a car accident. It tore at his heart, he knew it would get better, so he ripped the bandaid off and started to sob.

"Hey hey!" Zeke whispered pulling Cole into his arms. "I know honey, just let it out." Madisen nodded at Zeke. It was easy for young vampires to get caught up, exploring their new abilities... Cole had gotten so strong so fast, his abilities, growing every day, that he rivaled most vampires in the house. The rest of the house was hoping for him. To stop, and feel his humanity. Cole laid with his head on Zeke's lap, until he drifted off to sleep.

"Did he finally fall asleep?" Sam whispered to Zeke. Zeke nodded, appreciating that despite already knowing that he had, Sam had asked. "Good, that was a long time coming."

Zeke nodded again, glancing to see that Cole was fast asleep. "There's more coming."

Sam grinned and nodded. "Yes, it's amazing how you can read him so well, and miss the most obvious thing." Zeke cocked his head at Sam. "Your holding back..." Sam inspected Zeke's face to make sure he knew what exactly he meant, he didn't. Sam showed his fangs, normally an aggressive gesture, and mockingly bit his own arm. Zeke rolled his eyes at Sam. "I mean it kiddo!" Zeke shot eye daggers at Sam. "I sense it's because, its because he doesn't know the ins and out's of our world, you feel it wouldn't be fair to bond to him now."
