She removed her gun and fired into the incoming wave of hive, she felt the void power well up inside her as she summons her shield and tossed it with her immense strength as it plowed through her enemies it returned to her and she bashed through a group
She got a grenade and stuck it to her shield before throwing it again for it to detonate in the middle of them

Her mind made up the story she thought it was, to her it was about time the vanguard saw her potential and made her a member due to her greatness
She finally stood closing her book, she called upon her blade as the fiery wings appeared

Mace watched his enemies from a distance waiting for his moment to strike
When it came he leapt down and used his duel smg to kill the three vex and then spartan kicked the last into a wall crushing it
He watched as they streamed towards him
He felt the storm brew and unleashed it upon his enemies in a massive blast of lightning that eradicated all of the vex in his way
He blasted through them in no time as he enters the final room.....but before he could claim his prize by fighting the last enemy he got a message from the vanguard
"Really?! Now?!"
It had to be important, nobody would screw with his hunt if it wasn't
He looks at the next room and sighs, he would be back
He called his ship and walked back to the entrance
"If this is one of caydes tricks I'm going to kill him"
