Hurricane

First and only chapter

A seven year old girl  named Veronica salt starts to board a boat with her parents . her father was a loving man who had needed to get on this boat he needed to get to Japan so he could have a better paying job, her mom was emotionally abusive she only wanted to go to Japan to get money from her husband .  Then there was Veronica a little girl who wanted to know her purpose she wanted to escape her mother's abusive grasp and here is where are story begins . Veronica was with her mother on the boat her father had to go talk to one of his business partners " mother..." Veronica spoke,
" what is it ! " her mother snapped. " why do you have to go ? " she sighed looking at her mother's face for guidance, " because your father will make more money in Japan " her mother said harshly. Veronica sighed and took out a book and went to a corner to read it . Veronica had brought a locket from home she cherished it and held it close . Suddenly the captain of the boat got on the intercom and in a terrified voice said " attention attention there is a hurricane coming you all need to get to high grounds ! " . The people on the boat started rushing and panicking trying to get to the highest place on the boat , Veronica tried yelling for her parents but then a huge wave rushed over the boat . Veronica's vision soon became blurry then it went completely black....
A Few days later most people had survived Veronica's parents had been searching the beach " Veronica!" Her father would cry over and over . Her mother didn't seem to care , soon her father came to a stop and started to cry . Her mother had rushed over there to see what was causing her husband to cry , it was the locket the very same locket their daughter had cherished so much . And for a split second her mother had realized what she had lost she wanted to cry but didn't want to show signs of pity , but one thing was for sure they both knew their daughter was never coming back .
