"Did you have someone back at Ironrath," asks Jon.
The brown haired squire looks out into the barren, and frozen wasteland of the North. He doesn't answer but his hold on the pendant she had given him tightens. Jon's eyes don't miss it and that is all the answer he needs.
"When you take your vows, you're sworn to be neutral. You cannot be swayed by anyone."
"I-I know that, milord."
"I understand what you're going through," Jon looks down, he reaches into his pocket to reveal a pendant. The pale silver direwolf is a stark contrast against his gloves.
"I had someone like that too."
