The snowman

Tony

I'm sitting on the couch watching a movie with Stephen. It's a could winter evening and it's snowing outside.

Suddenly Stephen stands up and lifts me off the couch.

"Come on Tony, it's snowing outside!"

"So?", I say grumpy.

"So we can make a snowman!"

"But I'm watching a movie and it's freezing cold outside."

"You're right", he says what I didn't expect at all.

He just walked away to the hallway and didn't say anything. He came back with a thick winter coat and a ridiculous Christmas hat.

"Put this coat on", he says expecting that I will really do it.
I just couldn't resist his cute face so I listened to him and put the coat on.

"And now put this hat on".
I hesitated at first but then I put the Christmas hat on.

Stephen put his coat and his hat on, but he just wore a normal hat.
"Why do I need to wear the Christmas hat?"

"Because you look cute with it."

"No I don't, it's a rediculous hat."

"Well, you need to wear it because I don't have another one."

He immediately lifts me up again and takes me outside in the snow. I see he has prepared everything in advance. There is a sledge with a kind of snow slide next to it.

He did all of this for me?
"Thank you Stephen, it's so beautiful."

He put me down on the ground and kisses me.
"Do you wanna build a snowman?", he asks cute.

"Yes, but only if I can go down the snow glide."

"Sure."

He grabs the sled, and helps me lie down on it, he softly pushes me from the snow glide and runs to the end of it to catch me up.

"Now we can build a snowman, I say happy."

We both started with a little bit of snow and put it together. I only had a little bit of snow, but Stephen already had a large snowball.

"Let me help you, he says with a big smile."

He made a start for me and then we crawled through the snow together to make it a huge snowball, just like his. We finished the snowball together and then continued with the other.

We had two snowballs done and Stephen put them together.
"We need to build his head."

"We made his head together and placed it on top of the snowballs."

I look at the snowman and see he isn't finished yet.
"Now he only needs arms and a face.
I see Stephen searching on the ground for branches. I'm searching too but I can't find them.

Stephen

I'm searching for branches, but I suddenly see a perfect big snowball on the ground.
I grab it and throw it in Tony's cute face. He fast makes a snowball and trows it at my face too, We are starting a snowball fight, but I know Tony is very bad at it.

Every time I throw a snowball, I pick up the next one very slowly so he thinks he's very good. I just let him win. He's jumping from happyness with a huge smile on his face.

"Maybe next time I can teach you how to do it good."

"Uhh maybe..., but we still need to finish the snowman."

We're searching for branches again and finally find some. We put them on the snowman and go inside to get some buttons and a carrot.

We make his face with all the stuff we brought from inside. But now he needs some clothes too.

"We can take or clothes of and then put it on him," Tony suggests.

"Are you crazy?"
"You said it yourself, it's freezing cold outside!"

"But afterwards we can go together in the warm shower."

"It's still a no."

"Or we can go together in the bath if you want."

"YES, YES!"
"Of course I want that!"

We take or clothes of and put it on the snowman, he gets my coat and Tony's Christmas hat.
I only miss one thing...

"How do you want to name him, Tony?"

"Peter!"

We go inside and go in the bath together.
It was a beautiful day.
