Strange Encounter

As I'm thinking of what I can do, I feel a sudden force and I hit the ground. I land on my hands and knees, I turn around and see Ben mouthing 'sorry' and shrugs.

"Are you okay?" She tries to hold her laugh and helps me up.

"This would only happen to me" I dust myself up and meet her emerald eyes with mine. "S-Sorry bout that, I'm just so clumsy, I can trip over the slightest draft of air"

"Don't worry, I've had my share of trips and falls" she looks down at the microphone in my hand "oh I'm Jessie J by the way" she shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Dani.. Um" Ben clears his throat reminding me of the interview. "So your new album 'Sweet Talker' is the one album I can seriously say that I can't choose a favorite song from theyre all SO good!" I quickly try to go back as an interviewer and not a falling object.

"Awe thank you" she places her hand over her bare chest. The way her dress fits and hugs her body is amazing, especially the long v neck which is making hard to make eye contact.

"I mean like your vocals are just phew! What song would you say was the most challenging?" Let's just say I'm not the best interviewer.

"Vocally, I'd have to say Burnin' Up. I don't like limiting myself and with this song I definitely took it on as a challenge"

"And you totally conquered it. Ok now on a totally different subject. How do you feel about selfies?"

"Mm what are selfies?" Jessie says sarcastically. "Joking. Some would say I'm the selfie queen" she laughs.
"Aight your majesty" I grab my Polaroid "selfie?"

She takes a step closer to me and smiles, I snap the picture, and it slide out.

"Ooh can we have another?" Jessie's amused.

I snap another one. I hand her a sharpie "I'm collecting snaps of tonight's event, here you can right what's on your mind at this very moment" I point at the white space.

"Sure but on one condition"

"What's that" she takes a picture from my hand.

"I'll sign this one for you if you sign that one for me" she smiles

"Okay" why would I say no, she'll probably lose or throw the picture away by the end of the night.

"Oh and it's a secret" she points at the camera and winks. "You guys wont know what's written on these"

She writes on hers and hands me the sharpie. I make sure to angle myself so the camera can't catch what I'm writing.

I hand it back to her and she hands me hers. She reads it and smiles, instantly forming dimples on her cheeks.

I read the one she signed and it makes me laugh.

"Oh I wish I could stay and talks for hours but I gotta go" she hugs me "it was nice meeting you"

"It was nice meeting you too, thanks for stopping by" I wave back as she makes her way down the red carpet.
I interview about 3 other celebrities until the show starts.

"So.. What did Jessie write on the pic?" Ben says as he packs his equipment.

"What?"

"You know Jessie J? What did she write?"

"Can't tell you, remember?" He rolls his eyes at my comment.

The show begins which means I'm off, I gather all the pictures I've taken and slide them in a pocket in my bag pack.
