Rosie sighed as she drove to school, singing her heart out to a random song that was playing on the radio. Her voice carried through the wind like a dandelion that had just been blown away. This was the only time she felt like she could be herself without expectations or prying eyes. Brunette hair tied neatly in a bun, no one would expect her to have a knack for singing this genre of music; and she would like to keep it that way.

Seeing the faint outline of her high school, she turned off the music; she didn't want to be seen with this type of music playing. It was kind of silly though, considering her first concert would be tonight. She could have told people, but if she did that her anxiety would have gotten the better of her. She would not let that happen, this was her dream. Pulling up to the Valet, she handed the nice gentlemen there her keys; then walked off, heels clacked on the linoleum tile.

Most people would think, 'What kind of high school is this?' but to her it was just a normal day at Candle Wood High, a school where only the richest can attend. Just because people were rich doesn't mean they were smart though, after all this school wasn't known for its academics. It really was such a shame though, it some smart people came to this school. She got to her locker, with very few trips along the way (thank those lessons) and there waiting for her was her best friend, Amanda. "What are you planning to do tonight, Ra-Ra Rosie?"

Ra-Ra Rosie was the nickname that Amanda had given to her ever since they were in 6th grade at Candle Wood Middle, the also rich school for younger grades. Amanda was the only one that knew about her concert tonight, but she wouldn't say anything about out loud for prying ears to hear (Olivia Johnson). Her eyes twinkled and a small smile appeared on her face, "I don't know, we'll just have to see~"

Later that night, Rosie stood behind the stage, listening to the announcer to try and soothe her nerves. This would be no different from in the car, she would just belt it out like she normally does. This was her first concert and she didn't want it do be her last. So, when the first light came, she sang with all of her heart.
