Jasang Private Academy was
founded 125 years ago, overtime
becoming an institution in South
Korea where students attend from
the most wealthiest families who
are mainly powerful in the political
/financial world.

the main focus   in this school is
knowledge  in    tactics,    reading
opponents, and the will of holding
victories; which is proven through
gambling.   with   this   is in mind,
extracurriculars   or studies aren't
evaluated.   the reason behind it is
reality. people who are   bound to
have   power   over   others doesn't
consider the two necessary.

gambling.

gambling is powered by the student
council. who    is known for   their
      powerful influence upon the students.
the   collection of money from your
      winnings    are   "donations" to the
      student    council.     it   is   optional,
although. it   may    lead    to   some
      retaliation from the student council.
      think of this as taxes.

          — pet system.

after winning a gamble with the
former   council president,   the
creation of the "pet system" was
made.    this is just to impose a
     stable environment for students
     of the academy.

this system is like a retaliation for
those   who cannot   keep up with
     their   "donations"   to the student
council;    and for those who have
     lost their money through gambling,
     being in debt. in other words;
     no money?
no mercy.

these students will later be recognized
     as a "house pet". if you're a male, you'll
be   named "Fido".    the opposite sex?
    "Mittens".    gender isn't   your   thing?
"Roach" (my non-binary peeps out there).
not only will you have a new title, but a
name tag to go   along with it! isn't that
     cute?
