Ruby is for Nobility (Granger Lemon)

"Your dress looks really lovely my lady. It makes your beauty glow brighter." he complimented.

"What's the point of being pretty if the man I fancy won't even look at me the way I want!" she suddenly burst out. Tears suddenly fell from the corners of her beautiful emerald eyes that turn blue when a certain light hits it. She slumped her back on her chair in despondency as she wipes away her tears, ashamed that this respectable man had seen her weakness.

"I, I apologize for being disrespectful and for acting like that. I know that you were only trying to be nice so please forgive me." she said looking at the cake he graciously placed in front of her.

"There's no need for apology miss." he said before hugging her little form into his chest. Granger was decent enough not to inquire about what her problem was which made the girl glad that it was him who was with her.

When Ruby recovered she quickly pulled away from the man who was quite disappointed to lose the girl from his embrace so quickly. She despondently looked at her balcony and sighed before taking a bite of her blueberry cheesecake. She smiled with sadness.

"This thing doesn't suit the mood. It's too sweet and joyful." she said as she swallowed the piece.

"Would you like for me to play you a sad tune then, my lady?" Granger offered.

"Yeah, I would like that." she simply answered.

Granger brought out his violin and started running his bow along the stings of the instrument producing a beautiful yet sad tune while the lady listened attentively. He was playing Greensleeves while he listened to the girl's suppressed sobs and the wolf's whimpering as it tries to comfort its master.

He turned his gaze out into the glass door where the magnificent garden can be seen over the terrace of the balcony. Ruby's balcony is very beautiful as well like a mini garden with rose bushes and hanging blue hidden orchids where butterflies of colors blue and purple flutter about.

Her whole life is the perfect fairytale every girl dreams about. A loving family, a beautiful comfortable home, enchanting gardens, good food, dazzling dresses, and everything she wants. What could make this girl this sad when everything she needs or wants can be given to her and all she needs to do is say it?

But then he noticed it. Past the beautiful flowers of her garden and inside the maze, quite hidden but if you look attentively and carefully you will notice two figures copulating in the bushes. Alucard and Miya?

He gritted his teeth. That must've been what she was looking at before going to him. So this little princess likes that bastard as well? His hold on his violin tightened. He was furious that that bastard is always getting the love that he wants. First Miya and now Ruby?!!

Flashback

It was the dead of the night when their party reached the Rose mansion, bringing with them a very important prisoner and gift, Dyrroth, Prince of Lust, a fearsome demon fighter and an incubus who they caught while he was draining the life force of elves. He tried going for Miya but was shot down by Granger's bullet and beaten by Alucard. The demon put up quite a fight and wounded the squad greatly before being subdued and knocked unconscious.

It seems like the demon is immortal because none of their weapons could leave a lethal wound upon the prince. Every wound would just heal itself as if it was never inflicted that's why they brought him to Charles as a tribute and with the knowledge that the seasoned hunter has a way of slaying immortal beasts using the holy sword of Ruby's mother.

Their party, Alucard, Hayabusa, Granger, Kagura, Miya, and Harith were graciously welcomed into the household with the gigantic cage holding the prince of darkness. When he entered the doors of the mansion that's when he saw her. Ruby was very beautiful, she was dazzling, glorious, divine, out of this world, he really can't find the proper words to describe how bedazzled he was when he saw the girl.
