Hello there, and welcome! The fact you're here certainly says something, whether you were drawn in by the amazing cover (more on that later), found the synopsis intriguing, got a recommendation, or maybe came from the first book (The Iron Hallway). However you came to be here, I'm super glad to have you, and I hope you enjoy this emotional roller coaster I've put together, also known as a book.
Before we get into some juicy details, though, I have a few things I need to say. So first, be aware that this work has only been posted to Wattpad.com! If you're reading this on any other site, it's been plagiarized, so any comments, feedback, or support you give, aren't coming the real author (flamesword01)'s way. If you're reading this anywhere other than Wattpad, please report it to that site's administrators and let me know as well. Thank you.
Second, feel free to comment as liberally or conservatively as you wish. Some of you, I know, are spammers, and I'm okay with that (delighted, more accurately), so don't worry about me being overwhelmed. Others of you, of course, are on the other end of the spectrum, and though I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts, I also understand if you prefer laconism in your comments.

A QUICK NOTE TO THOSE WHO'VE COME HERE FROM THE IRON HALLWAY: I don't want you to be jarred by the fact this book will have a different protagonist, so I thought I'd give you a heads-up now. Neither will it be written in first-person as its predecessor was. Don't worry, though, Baird will still show up and be important, but I think it'll become quite apparent why the shift happened. Just thought I'd let you know so you don't get mad at me...or worse. 😂
With all that said, I've got some notes of gratitude to hang up, and then we're done here.
First, I'd like to thank @E_A_Hard for making the original breathtaking cover for this book, and @Fennagin for the new one. Both are super talented graphic artists (as you can see for yourself) and were great to work with. 😁
I'd also like to thank you, AbigailBucks, for being what I can affectionately and almost accurately call my creative consultant in this whole endeavor. Sure, you didn't directly write anything for me, but having someone to talk things over with (both for fangirling/fanboying purposes and helping when I actually got stumped), was really valuable. This book may have never got to this point, or at the very least, it would've taken me far longer to write it without your inspiration and assistance. So thank you! 😁🐢
