Where are you?

Alex shoves his phone back in his pocket before turning to Brendon. He passes one of the shots to him before taking one himself.

"So," Alex says, "you up for sex?"
Brendon frowns. "Seriously? That's why you called?"
"What's it matter anyway? Zack told Ryan what you did."
Brendon looks down at the shot glass in front of him, then back at Alex. "There's more to heartbreak than one night stands and too much alcohol, Alex."

The sound of his name bounces around in his head, repeating like a mantra as his thoughts go fuzzy. Brendon shouldn't be allowed to say his name. Not like that. Not in the same condescending way as Jack.

"If you're not going to sleep with me, I'll find someone else," Alex says with a shrug. He looks over Brendon's shoulder and catches the eye of a some guy with a mohawk who's on way too many drugs. Alex grins at him and the guy winks.

Brendon sighs. "You're so lucky I'm horny right now."

Brendon pushes Alex against the bar with a heated kiss before pulling away and leading him outside, to his car.

It's a small black car that every business man in the area seems to own, but Alex can't remember what it's called because his mind is far too distant.

As Brendon drags sloppy kisses along Alex's jaw, Alex is busy thinking about how much he fucked up back at home.

As if to elicit some sort of response from the man beneath him, Brendon bites Alex's collar bone just hard enough to draw blood and pull Alex down from wherever his mind had taken them.

"If you're gonna be distant, there's gonna be punishments," Brendon says huskily against Alex's neck.
Alex gasps as Brendon moves to suck at the skin behind his ear.

And yet Alex still finds mind drifting away, only to return again to find another bite, scratch, or bruise.

He almost feels bad, but somehow he thinks he deserves this.

Brendon finally reaches for the buttons on his own jeans while Alex closes his eyes and waits for whatever's next. He doesn't want to be here.

He feels his phone go off in his pocket, and so does Brendon

Brendon grins wickedly at Alex. "Is there someone out there who thinks they're more important than me?" He asks, reaching into Alex's back pocket to pull out the object that has just gone off again.

"Rian wants to know if you're okay," Brendon says. "Let's text him later, hm?"

Alex lets Brendon take control of the whole situation, but in Brendon's mind that's just an excuse for him to go crazy with the pain kinks.

Alex doesn't care though. Why should he? He's half dead now anyway, and the one guy Alex wants to be with thinks he's a monster. At least Alex isn't crying himself to sleep tonight.

But Brendon's too rough and Alex knows he should say something, but he can't bring himself to do so.

So when Brendon finishes up, Alex lays there in the backseat of the car, naked and feeling more alone than ever.

Brendon says something, but Alex doesn't hear him. He's thinking about Jack. He's been thinking about Jack all night: worrying and thinking maybe, just maybe, Alex can make it up to him.

Brendon sinks his fangs deep into Alex's shoulder, forcing Alex out of his daze.

"Why'd you even ask if you weren't going to try?" Brendon mutters, teaching for his clothes.
"Christ, Brendon, why bother with the bdsm if you know it's just going to heal super fast anyway?"
Brendon laughs. "A wound from another vampire heals as fast as human wounds." He pulls his shirt over his head. "Have fun explaining all the bite marks and hickeys to your friends. Jack's been wondering where you went, you know." Brendon holds up Alex's cellphone, revealing text messages from Jack.

Hey Alex, I'm sorry I got pissed earlier, I was just scared. I know you didn't mean to do it on purpose. Please come home?

We're all really worried. I'm sorry, Lex, really. I hope you're safe.

Alex, listen, I'm sorry I hurt you. Come back please? We're worried. At least let us know you're okay.

Brendon reads out each text as if mocking Alex. Then a wicked smirk spreads across his disgusting face.
Alex reaches for his phone, but Brendon grabs his wrist and tosses the phone into the front seat.

"Oh Alex," Brendon says, "you took everything from me. And now I'm going to do the same to you."

Fast as light, Brendon pulls handcuffs out of the glove box and cuffs Alex to the headrest of the seat with his hands behind his head. Then he places a kiss on Alex's cheek. "I'll get us somewhere a little more private. Then I have a little message for your friends."
