Ice skating is a breathtaking experience. The sound of the blades gliding over the ice. The feeling of the cold wind against you as the other skaters glide past. The gentle feeling of your legs gliding over the ice as the relaxing music plays in the background. The strange feeling of being hot but freezing at the same time. The pride you feel as you show off your jaw-dropping skills to the audience watching.
The joy of letting your imagination take over as you start to feel like you're soaring in the sky. The sweat on your forehead. The feeling of adrenaline running through your veins. You start to skate as if its almost like second nature.
As you close your eyes you can hear the talking of other people, the music playing softly in the background, the sound of you panting and the feeling of the coolness of the ice mixing with the warmth of your body.
Ice skating truly is magical.
