Right.

Yes Right!

Going right is the right wa-

Okay, this right nonsense is hurting my braincells.

But, anyways

The thief shook his head trying to set his mind straight.

He turned to his right and decided to venture forth into the sandy cobblestone path that the thief believed should lead to the marketplace.

He had a feeling that the king would be somewhere with a lot of people, trying to save as much of his kingdom.

I mean it's much more logical to do it at the town square but okay Bad, very cool.

He slowed down in realization on how... Eerily quiet it got. There seem to be no Shadows in sight, ambushing whoever they see.

Their numbers must've died down then.

The others are doing their best.

He looked around, his sword held up high.

The breeze blew by the hanged up cloth, the sun keeping it dry.

The creeks of an opened window swinging by.

Rapid footsteps from behind-

Wait...

FOOTSTEPS!?

The thief swiftly turned around with his sword in hand once more, his bandana covering half of his face.

His eyes radiate with warning.

Though, what he was about to slash in half wasn't what he thought it would be.

There in front of him another villager? Traveler? a brunette cladded in blue who raised their staff up to block his sword just in time.

"Oh heck, sorry"

He started off dumbfoundedly

"Geez you almost sliced my head off- wait aren't you that guild leader Skeppy!?"

They questioned

"In the flesh."

He flashed a toothy grin

"Wow I did not expect you to meet you this way- wow I- anyways...uh you're also fighting against these blob monsters too right?"

He nodded

"You too?"

"Yeah, I and my friends got separated in the mix, ones like this tall and the others a literal gremlin. One of them is wearing a red bandana"

"Sorry, I didn't see either of them"

"Oh no, it's fine, thanks Ske-"

"SAM!? SAM, WHERE ARE YOU!"

"I'M OVER HERE, BLUE!"

They yelled out recognising the scream of their friend.

"Guess I'll head out! it was nice meeting you!"

"Byeeee"

The guild leader drawled out and waved back before sheathing his sword and turning around.

Only to be faced with...

Wait for it...

Another Fork in the road!

•>Go Left
•>Keep going forward

He groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose before sighing.
