The You that I can't reach

Chaeyoung's POV

"Miss, is this sit taken?" A certain tofu asked

"Yeah, it's taken by my most energetic, weird, and have the brightest skin tone friend" I said, sarcastically

"Very funny, cub" she sit beside me and hit my shoulder jokingly

"So, where's the tall yoda--" I was cut off by a smack in my head. I just scratch the back of my head while Tzuyu's glaring at me

"Speaking of the devil" Dahyun said

"Do you really wanna see the devil in me?" Tzuyu said, tauntingly

"Y-yah, you know we're just joking" then I awkwardly laugh

Come on, we all know how terrible this tall maknae can be angry

"Yah! Drop that aura you're having Tzuyu-ah, it's scary" Dahyun said

"By the way, I saw Mina-unnie earlier and we chatted for a while" The only word i heard was Mina, the one that I longed for, the one I miss, the one I love and the one who hurts me

Mina, the beautiful swan who captured my heart and clouded my mind

Mina, the reason why I'm dead inside

The Mina that changed, the one that has my lover's face but a stranger for me

Mina, now it's the you that I can't reach

'How can this be?! I'm late for my first day!' I thought while running....no in my case I'm now sprinting and i feel like my heart will burst out now because of running so fast plus the nervousness I'm feeling because I'm scared that the professor will scold me.

I open our classroom door with force causing it to open with a loud sound. I saw everyone looking at my direction so I immediately bow and make my way to our professor

"Lastname?" Our proffesor simply asked

"S-son, Miss" I stuttered because i feel intimidated because of the aura, our professor is giving me

"I'll let this slide because it's your first day but next time, you'll receive a demerit, understand?" She firmly asked

"Yes, Miss" She signals me to find a seat. I let out the air that I didn't know that i was holding

I saw a vacant seat at the far end of the room, I didn't hesitate to take it. I look outside and to be honest, it's a wonderful view, plenty of trees, tall buildings and amazing surroundings

A figure caught my attention, a certain person who walk like a penguin but has an overflowing elegance

How can a person be this gorgeous? Or is she a goddess?

I didn't know if it's the cause of running earlier or what......but......my heart is pounding and i feel like, at any moment now, it's gonna explode

"Ms. Son!" That shout wake me to reality, it was our professor

"I've been calling you for the nth time but you're just looking outside!"

"I'm sorry Miss" I bow

"Get out!"

I stroll around the university and familiarize myself but that person from earlier is still running in my head

"Who could she be?" I asked myself

I feel a sudden pain in my head and then I lose my consciousness

I open my eyes and i cover it with my palm because the lighting is too bright. When my eyes adjusted to the light, i slowly remove my palm from my eyes and I'm telling you.....it's either I'm dreaming or I'm in heaven because in front of my eyes is a literal goddess.

"Are you now okay?" Isn't goddess an understatement? With that face and soft voice with a lace of concern, I'm seriously in heaven right now

"Miss?" The beauty snap her fingers

"Y-yes?" She smiled in relief

"I'm really sorry about earlier, I didn't know that someone was gonna pass by, so i threw the rock and it hit your head. Are you alright?" The only thing I can think of is how her voice can sound as soft as the cloud and how sincerity filled her eyes

"I'm okay, I guess?" The only thing that i can reply

"I'm glad. By the way, I'm Myoui Mina, you, what's your name?" She offers her hand

"I'm Chaeyoung, Son Chaeyoung" I said while sitting up then shake her hand

Since then Mina never left my side until I recover but seeing her every single day seems like a blessing. We grew closer each day that passed

I also learned that she is a Japanese, that's why her name sounds different. She is also majoring in arts, just like mine

She personally wants to become a singer but her family wants her to became a world renowned artist so she didn't have a choice but to take this course.

"I told you, I don't want this course! I wanted to be a singer, why can't you understand that?!" I am startle, this is the first time i heard Mina raise her voice

"No! I already followed your order to take arts, I'm not gonna marry a stranger!" She ended the call and threw her phone somewhere

Wait.....Mina......Marry?....

It's all still processing in my head

I tap her back using my finger

"What!" I, again got startle because this is the first time she shouted at me

"I-i..." I don't know what to say or what to do

"You what?! You also want to control my life just like what my parents are trying to do?!" She said, annoyed

Before I knew it, she already ran off. Stupid Chaeyoung! Why did you let her leave like that?!

I stood there, frozen, the only thing that wake me up from reality is the sudden pour of heavy rain

There is only one thing in my head right now, Mina
