(Stokeley in the MM.)

Stokeley

"Move it, niggas!" Lenny yelled as if he was ludacris, hanging out the back window of Johnny's car. We were on the highway, trying to get back to Johnny's place but traffic was hell.

My phone rang and Johnny's name popped up on the screen while I laughed to myself.

"Yo." I chuckled into the phone.

"Do y'all see this nigga right now?" He asked, laughing.

"Wildin' out man." I shook my head, putting him on speaker as X rolled his window down.

"Yo, chill!" He yelled to Lenny as he looked back at us.

"All this damn traffic for what? Ain't even no stop lights on this bitch. These niggas need to just go. Accelerate!" Lenny yelled playfully as X sat back in the seat, laughing hard.

"That nigga is crazy." I shook my head, looking in my rear view mirror at Lola and Sierra directly behind us, laughing as well.

The person beside them starting to beep their horn as Lenny put up his middle finger.

"Yo." I laughed at the scene in front of us.

"That's why yo' girlfriend look like my mom!" He yelled at them.

Shaking my head, I followed along as cars began to move. Moments later, traffic finally let up and we were down the street from Johnny's, we'd be there in no more than five minutes.

"Man, that shit was sick today.." X trailed off, looking at me.

"Lola's a cool ass girl." He went on.

"She's aight." I said simply, slanting my lips while he squinted his eyes.

"I heard Lenny was trying to get with her."

"Yeah, he told me that too." I nodded and he just watched me. I knew he was just trying to see my reaction to it all but there wasn't going to be one. Lola was a cool girl and it was cool that she could board but she wasn't my type. Prince was my type.

Lenny could have her.

"Aight." He chuckled, looking away from me.

Later that night

"You want a shot?" Lenny asked me and I shook my head. I wasn't a drinker.

"I don't drink."

"Just take a shot, girl." He insisted and I shrugged.

"Alright, just one." I told him as I watched him pour it and he put it in my hands.

"Wait, let me pour myself one so we can cheers." He said and I watched as he poured himself one as well.

"Aight, ready?" He asked and I nodded.

"Cheers to good vibes, good people and fun times." He held up his shot glass and I did the same as we clanked them together.

We both threw the shots back, making a face at the burning sensation in our throats.

"This shit is horrible." He said, looking at the bottle while I chuckled, wiping my mouth.

"I told you. That's why I don't drink. Especially not dark."

"Aye, turn that up!" I heard Johnny yell to X from across the room and the music got louder.
