The nurse walks in
"Boys, he's ready for check out, keep movement to a little. Move him every two hours. Got it?"
She says

I say smiling
She rolls a wheelchair to me
We lift him into the chair slowly
"One.. two.. three!"
We say in unison
We place him in the chair
"Ow!"
He yelps in pain
"I'm sorry baby..."
I whisper to him
He blushes
"It's okay."
He says smiling
I wheel him out of the hospital
I call my bff for years

He picks up
"Hey!"

"Can you get my car from my house?"

"Yeah, the keys?"

"Counter."

He asks

"Also come to the hospital."

I open my phone
"Chase.."

JJ: I don't think we should be together.

I close my phone
I hear it beep
Then a phone call
I decline it and lay Benji down on his bed
"It will be okay."

He asked
He looks me in the eyes

I wait a minute

I whisper to myself
