Total time - 35 minutesIngredients:
- 1 stick of salted butter (1/2 cup)
- ½ cup white sugar
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips***
Add:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Combine in a small bowl. Set aside.Add:
- 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
- ½ cup white sugar
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
Cream together in a medium-sized bowl until smooth.Add:
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Mix into the sugar mix until well incorporated.Stir the dry ingredients into the sugar mix just until moistened. Fold in the oats and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Drop by tablespoonfuls (about 1 inch balls) onto lightly greased cookie sheets or parchment paper.
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges start to brown. Cool on the cookie sheets for about 5 minutes before moving to wire racks to cool completely.
