You heaved out a heavy sigh as you were woken up by the monotonous ring of the alarm clock.

You shifted about underneath the blanket for a few moments, praying to yourself that it'd stop before it properly woke you, but once more, to your dismay it continued.

So with a hesitant groan, you swung your legs over the edge of your mattress and pressed down on the alarm as to shut it up.

You grumbled to yourself a incoherent line of slurs as you made your way out of the room and into the kitchen, and in your haze you steadily picked up the kettle and filled it under the tap before setting it down and finding yourself a small mug to make the (tea/coffee) in.

You found yourself once more nodding off to sleep as you stood there, waiting for the kettle to click, but before you could, your attention was shifted to the sound of nails softly clicking against the kitchen tiles.

"morning love" You yawned pulling a hand to your mouth already knowing who it was.

At the sound of your voice the small creature began picking up it's pace, but not before stumbling over her paws and falling at your feet,

You smirked slightly as you crouched down, lightly stroking the pup on its head "Very cute Lottie" you laughed to yourself, before having your attention quickly snap to the kettle that had only just clicked. So with a sigh, you picked yourself back up and carried on with making your drink.

It wasn't too long later you found yourself drink in hand, heading your way over to the couch, once you got their you set the cup down on a coaster and relaxed back in your seat, tucking your legs to your chest.

The dog from before quickly found her way back over to you, tail wagging back and forth like a helicopter, a smile tugged at your lips while you patted her up

It took her a few moments to hype herself up for the jump before she attempted a leap up, but barely missed and fell back on her arse.

"you'll make it up yourself one day, love"

You carefully picked Lottie up as she squirmed about and put her down beside you, snuggling up closer once she had free roam of the couch, and from the armrest you lifted up the the flicker for the telly (box, remote control, whatever you call it D:<) and flicked it on.

Your brows furrowed as there was nothing but your bog standard soaps on, "bollocks" you groaned to yourself thinking of what you could put on

You thought a movie, but even they didn't seem all that appealing to you, so in your frustration you just left on whatever popped up

Whilst you sat there in peace, you were quickly disrupted as the front door burst open, giving you a fright as you whipped your head around.

There stood your friend a flush of relief flushed over you but that was quickly replaced with annoyance and you frowned "oi come on now, what have I said about barging in like that" You muttered, shifting your attention back to the telly.

"Sorry (Y/N)!" they laughed plodding themselves down on the other end of the couch, giving Lottie a little pat as they did so "I was only nipping over to say hi! But it's boltic out there, so I was in a tad bit of a rush" They laughed off, rubbing the back of their head in embarrassment

You lifted an eyebrow at them in confusion "It's England. In autumn. What were you even thinking? That oh, it's going to be sunshine and warmth out there?" You retorted sarcastically
