A lot of people think that their story needs to have a lot of drama, and while drama can be good, it's better to draw out one dramatic event through the course of multiple chapters or parts.
Really the only time having a different form of drama in every part is ok is when you're writing a comedy show that needs to have a different problem in each episode.
Also, if you need to add more drama after the initial story and you just add drama to keep it going, then you need to find a new plot point and start working on that in a new story or a sequel.
Drama doesn't need to be something that brought up in every chapter either, you can have two chapters dealing with drama and one not. Adding drama isn't necessary either, but it does help continue with or start a story.
