Prologue

It's always been told that the toys a child keeps, are friends they will know for a long time. Here in the town of Haven-hallow, a little shop has been known to give the kids a friend to keep forever along with available hand made clothing that's always in style for those who enjoy it. Often times these toys were the work of wood carving, clay or just cloth but there is a piece of the store that is always named directly as the Doll Section. Handmade dolls of all sorts of shapes and sizes lined shelves and tiny clothing hung on small racks to be picked out and added to the doll's appearance. What the people of Haven-hallow all seem to have a common understanding that the only odd peculiarity about the toy shop what that of the shop keeper. The owner always wore a face mask and hooded clothing as to not show their identity in any way. Reporters have interviewed them and their story comes out straight and understandable while even the toys check out. The toy maker of all the whimsical toys was none other than the owner themselves and asked to be called Threads. The other questions asked of them was of their favorite toy which happened to be the dolls.

The dolls were often made of a soft fabric like felt. Hair was usually made of any color of yarn to help give the diversity of refined threads in the yarn. Their clothing was made of all sorts of fabrics as is regular clothing. Much care and thought is put into the creation of the dolls and it is easily shown through the fine detail. Even on their right leg would hold the trademark symbol of Threads, a needle with a thread through the eye. The doll's eyes were none other than buttons sewn neatly. None of the dolls had a mouth though and just had blank stares, creating the reason that the dolls always seemed eerie.

That was several years ago before the shop keeper suddenly disappeared and the store was closed. Almost all the toys were emptied out of the building all except the Doll Section. No matter how many times it's been cleaned out, all the dolls seemed to just reappear back on their shelves with those same blank stares. Rumors were spread about them from being cursed to being be a favor of Threads if taken successfully. The truth of matter was still unknown as to why Threads had gone missing nor why the dolls dwell in the empty shop. What is known that their lineage will be making a visit to the very same shop very very soon.
