- What are we waiting? frowned Mike.

- The other students, smiled Ms. Jenkins.

- What!? Other students!?

- Please don't tell me it's garbage, sighed Max.

- Don't call them like this, they are just...different, I'm sure it will be fine.

- How many? asked Will who was beginning to stress.

- Four.

- I hope Goblin is not one of them, mumbled Max to Bev.

- You gave her a nickname, it's cute, mocked Beverly.

- It's not supposed to be cute!

- I know, smiled the redhead.

They heard footsteps coming to them and saw their four new friends. A guy named Jolan, a girl named Anna and, obviously, Melissa and Jane. Max sighed loudly with her mouth, it was like this girl was always with her! The four sat at the third row, Jane behind Mike, Melissa behind Lucas, Jolan behind Dustin and Anna behind no one.

- Good afternoon, welcome in music class, began Ms. Jenkins. If you don't mind, I would like to know your musical experience. Let's begin with you, Anna.

- Um...I sing.

Jane and Melissa looked at each other before raising their eyebrows.

- Yes, I can sing! got worked up Anna, looking at the two other girls.

- Sure, answered Jane with no conviction.

- I'm sorry but what can you do except breaking everything!?

- I can sing too!

- Oh really!?

- Yeah, if you can sing, everybody can! mocked Jane.

- Suck your ass! What can you really do!?

- I play drums, I don't need to sing!

- Ok, intervened the teacher. Anna, is there anything else?

- I play piano too.

This time the two girls didn't react. Mike turned to them with an angry frown.

- What!? snapped Jane.

- You have no commentary this time!?

- No, she is an aw'some pianist.

He looked at Anna who didn't react before turning again to the teacher.

- Ok, that's great. So, Jane, drums? continued Ms. Jenkins.

- Yep, but I didn't touch drums since years now.

- Ok, anything else?

- A bit guitar, and I tried trumpet once.

- The trumpet won, joked Melissa which made laugh Jolan and Anna and smile Jane.

The teacher continued with the two other students while Mike turned again to Jane.

- Why are you here if you know nothing about music!? murmured angrily the boy.

- They weren't accept us in dance!

- No shit! We should have done the same!

- It's not you who choose Big Lips!

- Stop calling me like that! You have big lips too! stated Mike.

- No, mine are pulpy, answered calmly Jane. Yours are awful, I'm not surprised you are so frustrated! Even a bottle suffer with that!

Mike clenched her jaw and closed his fists before turning again.

- I want her to die! whispered the boy to his friends.

- You provoked her! stated Bev.

- No, I just tell the truth!

- No, you told your truth! I'm glad a class accepted them, and music is a nice therapy.

- We are not here for a therapy, intervened Max. And, I'm sorry, but even when you're nice with them they act like that.

- Oh yeah!?

- Yeah, I saw Goblin in the bus yesterday, I was nice with her but she was cold when she left!

- You're sure you didn't say anything which upset her!?

- No! I've been more than correct!

Bev didn't believe her. Even if Max was her best friend, she knew she could exaggerate sometimes, and with Jane, it was constant, it was always Jane's fault for her! The class passed well. The ex-prisoners didn't bother anyone, they even seemed interested. They all left the class to go back to their home.
