"Between her grandma and her uncle Saen she's gonna be a whirlwind that's for sure", Tess smiled lovingly carresing her stomach, ".....she just needs to hurry up and get out cause she's driving me insane"

"Oh just three more months and it's all over", Lorraine exclaimed her hand still placed on Tess's belly

"SO.....", Mitchell walked to Tess placing a hand on her waist, ".....tonight mommy and daddy are going on a date night and uncle Saen can catch up with grandma before we all set off to Sedona for the weekend"

"That sounds nice baby.....I just have my monthly appointment with Dr. Cooper later and I want you to come along Lorraine, Saen's coming too"

"Wouldn't miss it for the world child and I think calling me mother would be appropriate", she winked at Mitchell , "......you are carrying my grandchild after all"

Tess smiled brightly feeling her emotions well up again but she held back the tears and gripped the woman's hand in silent appreciation for the gesture

After a visit to the doctor Tess freshened up deciding not to change since she didn't feel like picking out a whole new outfit. She walked into the living room smiling at the other three people as their attetion shifted to her

"You know what I was so happy to see you earlier I didn't even tell you how gorgeous you look

Mitchell stood up from the couch putting his hands on her waist and kissing her cheek

"I look like a whale"

Lorraine scoffed from her posistion on the lazy boy, "Please......from the back one can't even tell you're pregnant"

Tess smiled at her and placed one hand around Mitchell and the other absently on his chest laying her head on his shoulder

"Are you two gonna be okay? Should we order you a pizza or bring leftovers-"

"Don't worry about us......you'll forget all about us in a few hours", Saen said sipping his wine

Tess frowned, "What's that suppose to mean?"

Mitchell cleared his throat and let her go taking her hand in his, "He's already tipsy.....let's get going huh?"

He ushered her out of the apartment tightly holding her by the waist as they walked down the stairs to the parking lot

"What is going on?"

"What do you mean baby?"

Tess rolled her eyes knowing Mitchell would play stupid and she didn't at all feel in the mood to try and get it out of him. She would just have to wait and see what happens. The ride to the restaurant was silent, his one hand on the steering wheel while the other was absently rubbing her thigh as he just stared straight in front of him deep in thought

She sighed and lay her head back closing her eyes, she had forgotten how tired she was, all she wanted was to cuddle up to Mitchell on the couch and watch a movie but he seemed so excited about taking her out tonight which meant he probably put a lot of effort into it

The car stopped and when she opened her eyes she frowned, "Where's the restaurant?"

He just smiled at her and got out walking around to open her door and help her out. He wordlessly lead her down a few steps till she saw something glittering in the distance, when they got closer she gasped at the sight. A small table was placed on the beach surrounded by candles and rose petals

The table was also splattered in candles and rose petals with two champagne glasses on either end

"Mitchell...."
