The Story Thus Far

A bandit was killed on evening by three adventurers, refusing to let him extract more gold from the already impoverished commoners, especially after the terrible last three years. He seemed a mere blip in their adventures, but his death brings unforeseen consequences.

Three brothers, Dick, Dink, and Richard, cornered a group of adventurers in Corwell Town closely matching the descriptions of those that killed the bandit.

"You better watch your backs... someone is liable to put a knife in it." 

"We know what you did to our brother, and we won't let this go unanswered."

"Ye-ye-ye-yeah, what they said!"

Their threats were not well received by the adventurers, and a nearby guard nearly had to intervene to prevent bloodshed. But the adventurers thought nothing of it... until...

Out on the road, three men ambushed the adventurers, trained mercenaries, they were no easy fight. And one of their bodies was a note - a bounty was on their heads signed only by a single initial.

Since then little has been seen of the other three brothers, until, while protecting a lizardfolk tribe from a band of pirates, they found the leader to be none other than Dick, the largest of the three brothers. Unfortunate for Dick, his crew had a change of heart after being bested by a group of misfits and some lizardfolk - and he was turned upon, and subsequently killed by the lizardfolk chief.

Now, two brothers remain, what kind of trouble are they brewing for the adventurers who killed their kin?
