About half an hour later, Abel pulls into a field like area with a large cinema screen right at the front. Since we're relatively early, there are few cars here meaning we get to pick a good spot.
As it's February, it still gets dark pretty early so by the time the movie starts, hopefully the sun will have gone down mostly. I think it would look cooler at night.
"The movie starts in about half an hour Brown Eyes. I brought several pillows and blankets, they're in the trunk. I also brought chairs for if you wanted to sit outside at any point along with a picnic basket of food."
Abel heads to the back of the car as I follow closely behind and opens the boot for me to see everything that he was talking about.
"What do you think?" He asks while biting his lip.
Instead of answering, I hug him tightly which he quickly reciprocates.
"I'm guessing you like it then." He says with a laugh.
"I love it! Let's set everything up!"
I run back to the front of the car with pillows and blankets in hand. I throw one of the blankets over both of our seats and place a pillow over the handbrake to prevent any accidental movements. I scatter the rest of the pillows in various places and push the seats back to give us more room.
Abel catches onto to what I'm doing and brings the basket of food and puts it in between us.
By the time we've done all of this, a lot more cars have arrived and the sun has started to set since it's just after 5.
Abel and I start to get comfortable but before we can fully settle in, Abel speaks up, "Brown Eyes do you want some popcorn? I didn't bring any but I can go buy some from the stand over there?" Abel opens his door and prepares to step out but I grab his arm to stop him.
"No babe, it's fine."
Able closes the door and looks at me with raised brows, "You never really call me babe, did you know that?"
Feeling a little shy, I wring my hands together before responding, "Um yeah. I just think it sounds weird coming from me. I love it when you do it though."
I roll my lips in my mouth and look up at him through my lashes.
"You're too cute babe. And one day, you'll be perfectly fine with it. You'll probably say it even more than me to be honest."
"Really now? Why'd you think that?"
"Cause you like me more than I like you obviously." He says with a smirk.
"I'm not even gonna argue with that cause it's true."
Abel's face softens and he cups my cheek with his hand, "Not possible Brown Eyes. You're everything to me."
I think it's sort of weird that he says such deep things like that yet those three words haven't even left his mouth.
Everyday, my feelings for him grow even more and I'm struggling to keep it inside. I want him to know how he makes me feel.
As the movie starts, I watch a couple quickly walk towards the stand where they're selling popcorn. When they turn around to head back to their car, I notice that it's Marcel and Tenaya.
I gasp and hit Abel's arm again.
"Brown Eyes you've got to stop doing that."
I ignore his comment and point towards the two familiar figures, "Look, it's Marcel and Tenaya! I knew they were together! He's been hiding it from me!" I exclaim.
