• Chapter Thirty-Three •

Start from the beginning

"I'm sorry Brown Eyes. Forgive me?" Abels warm breath fans against my face making me gulp slightly. My heart begins to thump against my ribs simply because of how close he is to me.

Abel leans his forehead against mine, our noses barely brushing each other. Slowly, he removes the distance between the both of us and presses his lips against mine in a passionate and demanding way.

I feel his frustration and desire pouring out into the kiss making it all the more intense. Abel places his hands on my waist and squeezes before lifting me up and placing me on the counter. I wrap my legs around his waist like a vine pulling him impossibly closer to me. Abel's tongue suddenly presses on the seam of my lips begging for entrance into my mouth. I eventually grant him access, allowing his tongue to delve deep into my mouth eliciting a deep moan from my throat. In response, Abel removes his mouth from mine and traces his lips down my neck slowly. My whole body trembles with desire causing breathless sounds to escape me. A euphoric kind of warmth blossoms inside my chest making me feel all kinds of happy. Having enough of his teasing, I drag his lips back to mine and kiss him even harder than before. The feeling of his lips against mine is like nothing I've ever felt; he tastes just like mint and something else that's so very him. I run my hands through his curly locks tugging slightly while nibbling gently on his lips. A low guttural groan escapes Abel causing him to hold me tighter.

I've always wondered what stories meant by melting into a kiss; but with Abel, I think I finally understand.

My hands start to wander under his shirt, caressing the smooth planes of his back causing his muscles to flex underneath my touch.

We both break apart from the kiss, breathing heavily from our lack of oxygen.  Abel's eyes have changed to such a dark shade of blue almost making his pupils no longer visible. His lips are swollen and glistening practically begging to be kissed even more. And because it's Abel, I give him one last quick peck before he can deepen it further.

"If this is how we make up after arguing, then I don't think I mind very much." He says in a low husky tone.

I laugh lightly and place my head on his shoulder.

"As much as I love the position we're in, it's getting harder for me to restrain myself Brown Eyes." Abel speaks softly in my ear and rubs my back in small circles.

I then realise that my legs are still wrapped around his and proceed to detangle myself from him.

Abel removes his hands from around my back and places them flat against the counter.

"I hope you've learned your lesson." I say to him still a little bit breathless.

Abel smirks cheekily which means whatever he's about to say is not going to be serious, "What was the lesson? That arguments equal hot make out sessions?"

I slap his shoulder at his comment and give him a look.

"Okay okay. Yes, I realise now that I should talk to you rather than walking away. I do not want to get on your bad side."

"Thank you. Respect is important in any relationship Abel."

Abel pouts his edible lips, widens his hypnotic eyes and brushes his nose against mine. "I'm sorry baby."

My breath hitches at 'baby' since it's a term he's never used before. A tingling feeling spreads around to each part of my body causing an indescribable feeling to overwhelm me.

"Baby?"

"Do you not like that?" He asks cautiously.

"No, no! I do..yeah I do." I smile softly at him. "And apology accepted Abel."
