In senior year of high school, a girl named (y/n) (l/n) was best friends with a troll. His name was Sollux, Sollux captor. He and (y/n) have known each other since they were little, ever since trolls came to earth.they would do everything together, Sollux even asked her to be his moirail. Everything was great till graduation, right now (y/n) is in shock by what sollux was saying. "So, you say you're moving off-planet? As soon as we graduate with aradia...?" " ye2 (y/n), ii'm 2orry but i have already made my choice." the girl just sat there tears pricking her eyes but she didn't want to seem pathetic and weak so she sucked it up and spoke"yeah i get it. It's your home planet, Anyway, you're leaving...Need a hug?" Sollux shook his head and hugged her tight " s-sollux air-r" she coughed out. He immediately let go and said goodbye to his moirail for the last time. After time went on (y/n) started to talk to Gamzee more till they were hanging out every day. They were drinking faygo and listening to each other's problems until Gamzee offered sober slime pie to (y/n) and they both didn't know the side effects of it to humans. (y/n) knew this was a drug to any species but she didn't really care. This resulted in her accepting it and eating it, nothing happened so she ate it every day till one week she didn't remember any of her friends, not even any of the trolls except Karkat and Gamzee. She told Gamzee this and he was confused about why this was happening so he asked her if she remembered anything about Sollux but it didn't go too well. " So YoU dOn'T rEmEmBeR aNyOnE bUt Me AnD kArBrO?" (y/n) shook her head yes and looked scared "wHaT aBoUt SoLbRo?" She couldn't recognize the name but trying to think about it hurt her head. This resulted in her eye twitching, once it stopped her eyes spilled gallons of tears as she sat there with a blank expression. "WoAh ThErE Lil MaMa WhY aRe YoU all Up AnD cRyInG?!" " i-i don't know gam, I really don't... all i know is i miss him, but i don't know who he is. I need more pie, I need my problems to go away again. This drug is the only way, I don't care if it's bad!" Gamzee had never seen this side of (y/n) before and it scared him so he gave her more. After Gamzee got (y/n) to remember her family and he sent her to live with them for the better. A week later the pie ran out and Gamzee refused to give the addicted girl anymore so she went to weed to fix her mess, it fixed her depression ever so slightly but not her memories.She wanted a way out, a way not to exist. Yet at the same time, she was scared of that possibility. She was terrified of the thought of not existing in the world, despite how much she hates it. Later her parents started to see her change and asked her about it but she declined everything. One time when she went to get more weed but her parents found her stash. They would verbally abuse her and say things like " you stupid whore, this is why we never loved you since you were born." " This is what happens when God is trying to tell u to kys." it was very brutal till (y/n) didn't care anymore and hid in the basement where she lived for the most part. Through 2 years Gamzee and Karkat would stop by and say hello, talk for a little and try to get her memories back. They did this when her parents weren't home due to the fact they hated trolls. Karkat and Gamzee couldn't get all of the memories to come back. She was able to remember everything and everyone but Sollux. One day Karkat and Gamzee came over to talk to (y/n) one last time before they gave up on trying to fix her. "(Y/N) LISTEN TO ME. HE CAME BACK 3 WEEKS AGO AND HE WANTS TO SEE YOU." "He Is RiGhT (y/n)SiS, iF yOu JuSt SeE hIm YoU wOuLd rEmEmBeEr I all Up AnD bEliEvE iT." (y/n) sat there confused till she closed her eyes and a bright light was flashed in her face. When she opened them it was everywhere was black like a void. she walked forward and she saw her (ch/n) house, she slowly walked up to the door and opened it hesitantly. What she saw was still the void but there were a bunch of doors most is not all were locked with huge chains. She tried everything to break the chains to see what was behind it. She couldn't break them with her hands or legs so she looked around frantically to find something but there was no use. When she looked up above her she found a huge sign hanging that read memories. She didn't understand why all of her memories had chains on them. Then a child spoke behind her " those are your memories, you can't open them with any weapon yah know."They sounded familiar to her, So she looked behind her and it was her but as a child about 6-7, she was looking up at her. "Well i figured that out kid, but why are they locked with chains." " Well older me, they are your memories with Sollux." when she said Sollux all the doors with chains shook violently, and hurt older (y/n)'s head. " It's ok older me... you just need to remember him. He was your moirail since yall were my age, You guys did everything together.'' All of a sudden a door at the end of the void opened and the chains broke. Small (y/n) smiled from ear to ear, turned around and held her hand out. Big (y/n) slowly reached her hand to grab the offering hand, and asked what she was doing. " we are going to the door so you can see what happened in your past so you can reunite with the man you were always red for." the more they walked closer to the door big (y/n) tried to get away but small (y/n) had a strong grip for a kid and she couldn't getaway. Once they got to the door it went black and they both walked in. As they went in the door slammed closed and disappeared, " hey kid ima think ima call you (n/n) and u can just call me (y/n) so we don't have to say older me and kid, ok?" (n/n) shook her head yes and the lights turned on and there sat a park covered in snow. (y/n) gripped (n/n) hand tighter, scared of what she will see but soon let go when she saw (n/n) playing and giggling playing in the snow with a small troll. He had bi-colored eyes and 2 small horns on his head. (y/n) watching in awe as they played but was soon snapped out of it when a little girl spoke next to her. " that is you and Sollux, you guys loved the park and you guys would come here every day till...he left us in the dark to rot. Rot in this stupid place we call earth. (n/n) got louder and angrier as she spoke toward the end of her sentence. Then everything went black again and (y/n) tried to grab (n/n) hand again, but she couldn't find it since it was too dark. Then the lights turned on and what was there was the middle of the courtyard of (hs/n). (y/n) was sobbing and had a black eye; Sollux had grabbed (y/n) hands and looked at her deeply in the eyes. Realization sunk in for (y/n), it was freshmen year for the two of them. After Sollux had looked at her deeply in the eyes he spoke to her very softly. " iit2 ok (y/n), II promi2e II wiill 2tay by your 2iide forever." they then pinky promised and Sollux gave (y/n) a kiss on her forehead, that was the day (y/n) realized she was red for him. That was also the same day she thought he might have been to, she guesses she was wrong. After the memory ended all of her memories flooded back and it resulted in her falling to her knees.
