Diego POV

I have been reading the information that Mark sent me. Her eyes are captivating and I can't seem to look away even by just staring at her.

I investigated if she could really pay for her mother's debt and I found out that her company is just starting to bloom in the market. I am pretty sure she has the money but that's all she got.

Hmmm, they are not in good terms, so I believe Sarah and her have some issues. I don't think she will be willing to pay for her debt on her behalf.

So, I need to think of another way to tie her down in case she refused to pay the debt.

Mark, bring Sarah here.

------

You told me that your daughter has the money to pay me but I don't think so.

What do you mean?

Her company is not a multi-million company to pay me 20 million. If she pays me, there will be nothing left for her Sarah.

I don't know that Diego, I can have other options just let me.

No more options Sarah, as much as I want to settle your debt, there is one thing my father sent me last night.

What is that?

He said that your husband and he had an agreement to marry us but how could I even honor that when you abandoned your daughter Sarah.

Diego, I was too confused at that time and my husband had been sick and I don't know what to do. I could not take care of Ara and him at the same time. I panicked.

Don't give me your excuses Sarah, you are such a disoriented woman that doesn't even know how to do business and has been hanging around borrowing money under your husband's name.

Diego, I did that because my husband was sick and he just broke down so suddenly that I was caught off guard. I tried managing the company, even without knowing how to. I even neglected my daughter just to save it. But looked, she managed to have her own company now.

He chuckled and said "she is so much wiser than you are Sarah. She got that from your husband."

I have not talked to her for 6 years now. When I was having trouble with the company, I sent her abroad because I don't want her to see that we don't have money anymore.

Yes, and leave her there alone with nothing.

No, I did not do that. I did that for her sake. I know she can manage, she was college anyway at that time and I gave her to her aunt.

I despise such a woman like you. You will never understand. Sign this contract.

What is this for.

This is the claim I have with your daughter.

What claim?

The agreement between my father and your deceased husband.

No, you can't do that Diego, this agreement was already long gone.

That is why you are signing it Sarah. If your daughter can't pay me, I'd rather have her and her company, sounds like a great plan, right?

You are unbelievable, why marry without love?

Love? Who believes in that nowadays? Love does not exist, power does, and power comes with money.
