Straight men have been more open about there love and affectionate towards girls. Some kiss on a first date, others may just hold hands, and some might just have sex then and there.

However, Benjamin Bennett wasn't much open about his interests in girls. In fact, some people even suspected that he got rejected by a girl because his penis was too small, and that's why he wasn't dating one.

But no one ever suspected that Benjamin, one out of the top five best wrestlers of his club and top 10 amazing football player to start off as a sophomore, would have an interest into boys?

To be completely honest, I never really tried to hide my gay side. But because people in high school are oblivious to how I talk and use my hand gestures, they think that I am completely straight.

Like straighter than a pole.

I don't know how they do not see it. My friend Diana has tried to convince me to come out, but I am scared to do it. I mean who wouldn't be if one day you were dating your girl best friend and the next thing, she tells you that you might be gay? To be fair, I knew that something was up with me when I started kissing Diana, back when we were in middle school. 

I noticed the tension in my lips and how we would only peck on the lips just for a little bit and then I would avoid eye contact. Even Diana could tell something was up with me.

Finally, after weeks of deciding, I told Diana and wanted to tell our other friends. Diana was there to help me, she said she got my back. It took me forever to tell Erica, Piper, Susan, and Jordan, but I managed when we all decided to enroll into Mystic Falls high school.

I decided to tell them the first day of high school. The day finally came. First day of high school for us. Since I live close by the Mystic Grill in a small apartment, I thought that I would invite all of my friends for breakfast.

They thought that I am about to tell them a huge secret. When I told them about my sexuality, Erica and Susan looked at me in silence afterwards laughing loudly throughout the place. Piper was actually on the verge of tears.

"What's so funny?" Diana asks them with her arms crossed over her chest. "I'm.... sorry...." Erica tried to talk in between her laughter. Then after calming down for ten minutes, she looked up at me and said 4 words that made me cry with tears of happiness.

"I fucking called it" she shouted excitedly. "Pay up bitches" she gestured her open hand towards Piper and Jordan. Piper threw her the twenty-dollar bill, while Jordan just sat there in his lunch seat.

Diana looked at them with a cringe on her face "You decided to bet to see if he was gay or not?" she asked them with a little disappointment. "Hold your horses mother Teresa!" shouted Erica avoiding Diana's hand slap that was coming at her.

Piper had a smiling face and little tears starting to build up in her eyes, while Jordan just sat with shock all over his face. "How......are...you...." Jordan started.

"Gay?" I asked while wiping away my tears of happiness. Jordan nods his head. "Are you mad?" I ask a little sad.

"Why the fuck would he be mad?" asked Susan. "Are you?" she asks him accusingly.

"To be honest..." he began "I actually don't know...." he finally said. "Like, the moment he said he was, I did get pissed-"

"COME OVER HERE!" Erica and Diana yelled in unison while Susan had to hold them back because fists were about to be thrown at Jordan.

"But..." he continued "I am not going to be a douchebag about it. If my lil bro likes guys, then it's something that I have to accept."

That made me feel extremely happy that I eventually told my friends.
