You're a powerful meister trying to forget the past, but what will happen when you go to the DWMA and fall for someone you didn't expect?
~*~*~*~*~*~
This is my first story, I hope you like it :)
I flipped over the tiger like Kishin as it tried to swipe one of its paws at me. I aimed my bow for it's face. Realizing what was going to happen it hit me with it's tail and threw me into a building. Dust flew up into the air and plaster sprinkled down on my head.
You little -
It crouched down and growled ready to pounce. If I didn't move fast, I'd be a goner. Either from the building collapsing or being torn apart. Instantly I stood up and waited for it to make its move.
We sat there like that for a couple of seconds. Not a sound except for the rustling of leaves in the wind, not moving an inch. Come on you stupid cat... It finally let out a ear deafening roar and leaped with its claws extended. NOW! I jumped straight into the to air as the Kishin crashed into the damaged building. Asta lavista kitty. I pulled back my arm, and released an arrow.
It screamed in agony as my soul wavelength went through it. It's body fell to the ground and disappeared, leaving it's red soul hovering in the air. Landing on my feet I felt something trickle from my nose. Wiping it on my sleeve I saw it was blood. Damn, that was a tough one.

(This is how I imagine her bow except it's black and purple)
Timid people slowly started to fill the empty streets now that the threat was gone. I grabbed the soul and quickly shoved it in my jacket pocket. I'd take care of it later. More and more villagers flooded into the streets. They began to murmur things to each other and stared at me. Crap. I had to get out of here. Fast. I gave a two fingered salute and started running in the opposite direction.
"Wait! Who are you?" Someone cried.
Ignoring them I jumped into the air and threw my bow to the ground. With a bright flash it transformed into a black skateboard with f/c flames on it. A couple of people gasped. It made me smirk to myself knowing what was coming next.
The skateboard flew off the ground and soared up towards the clouds. Everyone's jaws dropped. Their faces were priceless! With the wind blowing in my hair I flew farther and farther away until the town was nothing but a speck in the distance.
Kids POV
We walked through the gates of the village . I expected it to be bustling with people because of its famous market, but instead they all stood in a silent crowd. Looking into the sky.
"Is there a parade or something? Kid can we watch the parade? Pretty, pretty, please?"
"I don't think there's a parade Patty..." Liz sighed.
We made our way to the edge of the crowd. No one noticed that we were there yet.
"Ahem." I cleared my throat. Immediately a couple people snapped out of their daze and turned around.
"Hello everyone, my name is Death the Kid and these are my weapons, Liz and Patty. We've been sent down from the DWMA to deal with your Kishan problem."
The people just looked at me and I started to feel uncomfortable. But then a young man stepped in front of us.
"We would thank you... but someone's beaten you to it." He explained. Liz gave me a look.
"What do you mean someone's already beaten me to it?" For all I knew I was the only one given this assignment because I was the only person my father thought could handle it.
"Well as you may know, before you came, our market was taking place. People from towns all over come to make trades and buy things. I was at my stand selling some of my old gear, when a girl walked up. She appeared to be alone and about your age. Her hair was h/l and h/c with purple streaks in it, and she had these piercing e/c eyes. She bought a some things and then walked alway without saying a word. About an hour later the Kishin appeared and started wrecking havoc and hurting people. It was chaos, people running and screaming everywhere, not knowing what to do. Through the commotion I could see her standing in front of the Kishin, weapon drawn with a determined look in her eye. The girl ordered everyone to go inside for safety, saying she would handle it. We followed her orders and waited. We heard lots of crashes and yelling, but after a while it got silent. Everyone hurried back to make sure she was alright and saw her standing next to its soul. Before anyone could figure out who she was, she disappeared in the sky riding a flying skateboard. As crazy as that sounds."
I was frozen in shock. My father told me of rumors about a meister as strong as a Shinigami who could beat almost any Kishin in their path. They've been seen sometimes in the outskirts of towns, but no one knows a lot about them. The only thing that anyone could really distinguish was the purple streaks in their hair. This mystery girl has to be that meister. Questions flew rapidly in my mind. I had to talk to my father.
"Liz. Patty. Transform back into weapons, we need to go back to Death City as quickly as possible."
"But Kid, we just got here!" Patty whined.
Liz shot her a look. Patty reluctantly turned into a pistol and landed in my hands. I silently thanked Liz. She smiled and then also transformed.
"I'm sorry for leaving so soon, but there's some business I have to attended to back at the DWMA. Tomorrow someone will be sent here to help with all of the damages and the recovery of your things. Thank you everyone for your cooperation." I summoned my skateboard Beezlebub and stood on top of him.
"I'll be back soon to check in on the repairs." With that I steered Beezlebub back the way we came, and the people started in wonder at the young reaper until he was out of sight.
