I never knew why I was named after a planet.

Saturn.

I don't feel like very much of a Saturn.

I was once told that Saturn is considered "the gem of our solar system" and that's where the name came from, which is curious because I don't feel like very much of a "gem" either.

Gems are beautiful, bright. Often used to make pretty jewelry. I don't think a girl who's always trapped in either her head or behind a window, watching the world dash by faster than a shooting star, is very much of a gem.

Saturn's namesake would live up to that name. A girl who'd always be up for an adventure and wouldn't feel the need to hide her herself behind meaningless words. Not someone who's only talents are things that don't matter, with her only friends being the books and the flowers and the stars she talks to at night.

She'd never be alone, never be lonely.

The sun and moon would always be there to beckon her back home.
