Week 2: Pictures

Your hymns filtered out into the grounds
A haunted melody
From your elusive throne
All below entranced, they paid reverence

Helios awoke,
And illuminated his dominion
All was halcyon

Then, a walking corpse traversed the Empty grounds
As if haunting the living
A pitiful beast

Yet tender were you in your gait
Composing the world with your eyes
Emboldened by Mother Gaia

So again we met in the early morn,
And you composed your rousing symphonies
Your haunting gait became a skip

Joyous hymns and melodies
From the piano atop your throne
Enthralled am I by you
A beautiful beast

Note: I did not finish the poem in time, so unfortunately it was not included in this weeks contest. In addition to the picture,  the poem had to be less than 20 lines. I'm positive that mine is over, so perhaps it's for the best that it is only posted here.
