A Random Chance

Getting Closer (Part 2)

~McKayla's POV~
"Ok! We'll meet back here in a couple of hours." S.Coups said as the rest of us nodded.
All of us then went our separate ways in pairs or small groups of 3.

While everyone was deciding who they wanted to go walk around with, I stood there kind of awkwardly since the boys didn't really know me yet besides my name so I knew none of them would go with me. As I looked down towards the ground in shyness, I never noticed someone walking up to me until they got my attention.
"Hey McKayla! Do you want to come hangout with me?!" I heard Jeonghan ask me which made me look back up.
"Yes I would!" I replied as he smiled at me.
"What do you want to go on first? We can go on any rides you want!" He said as we started to walk away from the others.
"I don't know. What other rides does this place have?" I asked curiously.
"I'll show you!" He said cheerfully as he grabbed another map for the 2 of us to use.

As we were walking, we looked at the rides on the map that were near us. I skimmed through it until I saw one called Flume Ride, so we decided to go on that one first. When we got there the 2 of us were seated onto a log boat and we sailed through what looked like a Jurassic world. We saw many different types and sizes of dinosaurs and other creatures that appeared through the bushes and trees. It made us feel like we traveled back in time especially when most of the dinosaurs came to life and moved around. Some of them like the T-Rex or Raptors would jump-scared us a few times when they roared at us. After a while the ride was finally over and Jeonghan and I got out of the log boat to find another ride.

A couple minutes later as we looked around, we saw people walking out of a place called Space Warrior VR. When we headed inside we noticed that the people were playing a war game since they were all wearing a black army vest while holding guns connected to their headsets.
"Wow that looks SO fun!" I randomly commented out loud.
"Yeah it does! Let's try it out." Jeonghan said.
As we continued to watch people having fun while playing, we heard that this wasn't apart of the main rides so we had to pay a small fee which Jeonghan didn't mind paying for the both of us. When it was our turn, the players that just finished their game handed us their stuff. Once we had everything on, the both of us along with other people pressed play on the headsets to start. We ran around the play area trying to take down the other players to win while having the time of our lives.

About 10 minutes later our game match came to an end with mine and Jeonghan's team claiming victory. When we took off our headsets and other gear, we gave each other high fives then handed the equipment to the next group of people.
"Where to next?" I asked as we left the building.
Jeonghan stood there for a moment thinking it over then he said,
"I think I know what ride you'll like!"
"Which one is that?" I wondered.
"It's a surprise, now come on let's go!" He answered as he had us rushed to wherever the surprise was.

After walking for a bit Jeonghan finally had me stop where we were.
"Welcome to the Adventures of Sinbad!" He said excitedly.
"The Adventures of Sinbad?! What's that ride about?" I asked curiously.
"It's about going through this underground tunnel, showing you the many crazy things that Sinbad does while trying to for treasure. Theres like a 3 headed dragon, a pirate ship and so many other things!" He replied as he lead me to the line up.
The line up was kind of long so to kill time the 2 of us talked about whatever came mind. Most of what we talked about was him asking stuff about myself which I was totally okay with. As we were making our way through the line while talking, I accidentally took a step too far and I bumped into someone in front of us.
"HEY!! Watch were your going lady!" The man said angrily.
"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to...I didn't see you there." I tried to apologize.
"Oh please! Save your apology, it won't do you any good!" He commented as he turned back around.

It was silent between Jeonghan and I now since I felt a little upset about what just happened. Suddenly Jeonghan tapped the man's shoulder and spoke up.
"Excuse me sir!! This lady has just apologized for accidentally running into you!! There is no need for your attitude towards her!! If you want her to pay for getting your clothes dirty I'll gladly pay for your dry cleaning, otherwise then I suggest YOU apologize to her for being so rude!" He said.
The man's eyes widen in shock when he said that and it looked like he was attempting to muster up a response but he couldn't.
"I apologize Miss, please forgive me!" He managed to say while bowing slightly.
I quickly glanced at Jeonghan then looked back at the man and said,
"I accept your apology!"
The man then leaned back up, said thank you and turned to face forward like before.
"Thank you Jeonghan! I appreciate you standing up for me!" I said somewhat shyly.
"Your welcome. I couldn't let my friend go through something like that without me saying anything!" He explained.
He then suddenly took a step closer to me and wrapped his arms around me for a hug. Since I love him so much, I never stopped him and I happily embraced him back. After awhile, it was finally our turn next so we sat down in the seats, got comfy and enjoyed the ride ahead.
