Always the Friend
Never the girl...
I find it self explanatory.
We find that one person, and we feel like we can give them our all.
But then pain and self doubt hits and suddenly, you're lost.
Like a small fish boat, in the middle of a storm.
When there's even the slightest ray if happiness, it becomes overwhelmed by negativity. You ignore that it's there. You don't notice it.
And when that person you love calls you friend, you feel broken. Like a mirror when it is hit.
Hit with sadness, but also happiness.
Happiness of them still wanting to be with you. But sadness for they don't want to be with you in that way. And it hurts. Don't deny it.
We all have those moments. But it takes awhile.
