michael roamed around aimlessly at the corridor of the apartment complex, scratching the back of his neck with his pale hands.
he couldn't find the correct door to knock on. three numbers in a combination, simple yet exact, could not be found by his traveling gaze.
calum waited patiently, sitting down at his sofa while fiddling with his thumbs. he expected michael to get lost, because really, he's stupid. he meant that in the nicest, and maybe fondest way possible though.
after five more minutes, calum sighed and stood up, walking towards the door. he reached for the knob and twisted it, the door creaking open.
he peeks his head out of the doorway and looked left and right, catching the visible silhouette of a pale man, instantly recognizing it as michael because of the vibrant crimson hair he sported.
"mikerowave!" calum called out, a smirk gracing his lips.
"oh," michael muttered to himself, "calpal!"
"that's the wrong number. 396, not 390," calum chuckled, then signaled him to come over.
that he did.
