I huff and he sighs and shakes his head, I reach into my apron pocket and pull out a share size bag of skittles. He laughs and shakes his head as he holds his hand out.

"When do you have time to get these?"

"I am a woman! I have ways."

I smile and nod. I walk out to the hallway. Skittles are his favorite candy and he never has time for anything! So I being a polite good maid, got some. I hear a shatter down in the basement. Today I'm in my flats black maid dress and apron. Of course I have shorts on underneath, I'm not crazy anime girl who does pantie shots!

"Fuck! Shit! Shit!"

I grab a lantern from that closet connected to the living room and light it. It lights up the room brightly. Some Pasta's run around upstairs laughing, playing music and screaming. I walk down to the basement, it is actually hot down here.

"Hello down there?"

I walk down the stairs and see Offender shirtless with a baseball cap on backwards. He turns to me, he is covered in dirt and burn marks. He grunts as he gets up from the floor, I pull a towel out of my apron and hold it out to him. He nods and takes it. His pants are being slightly low risers.

"Damn light exploded, I tried checking the breaker to make sure it wasn't all tripped up, and I needed to open it up and reset the motor inside of it."

He huffs.

"You can fix a heater but can't change a tire?"

"I don't need cars, I teleport." He flings the towel on his shoulder and crosses his arms.

"Also, I can but it sure was a treat to watch you do it. I love a woman who knows their way around a hot rod."

I sigh and shake my head.

"Powers out now, the heater won't start up without the electricity."

"Thank you captain obvious."

He huffs and turns back to the heater. He continues to put the heater back together. I go to set it down but he stops me.

"You put it down low it causes shadows, just hold it up."

I sigh and hold it until he is finished. My arm hurts and I feel sweat beading on my back. He grabs it and smirks.

"Where's the power box?"

"In the other basement."

He groans.

"Why are there two basements! Why the hell are there two basements!"

"Shush."

I say walking up the stairs. I don't actually know so telling him to shut up is the best bet.

He gets all the way up and closes the door.

"Damn it's cold it feels like my di-"

I slap a hand over his mouth and point to the fireplace where all of the kids are. He shoves my hand off.

"My bad."

Ellie and Elliot run up to me and hug my legs. Tock reads a book as Lazari and Sally play.

"Yes my lovelies?"

They speak so quietly because Offender frightens them. I turn to him as I pick them both up they hide their faces into my shirt. They kinda look like the human version of Bill. Anyways.

"They are hungry, you can go chill at the stairs, stay away from Tock you scare him."

I walk into the kitchen and sit the two kids on the stools at the counters.

"What sounds good my ladies and gents?"

"Tater tots."

They giggle. I smile and make some eggs and have to bake the tater tots. It runs off gas so we don't need electricity just like our water runs from well water. Once finished I turn back to see Offender sitting at the other end of the counter. The kids watch him intently.

"Sweeten me up hot stuff."

I place their food in front and they eat it quietly. I toss Offender a bottle of water. He growls at me and throws it back. I slide it into my apron and put another towel in it too. I make him a mug if coffee and continue to walk.

I open up the small door on the other side of the house. It was small so no one could get in unless they had to.

"You can just teleport down there."

"Yeah well I'm not teleporting you down there I don't want you to throw up."

"I don't always throw up!"

I huff. He shrugs and takes the lamp from me. I sigh the space is like a crawl space.

I begin crawling down it. I hear Offender behind me.

"Why don't you just teleport!?"

I huff. He chuckles and grunts too.

"Why? So I have to wait for you? At least I have a nice view."

I stop and look back to him. He changed human or else his shoulders wouldn't have been able to get through. He smiles at me.

"Don't flash me with that pretty smile, jerk."

"You think my smile is pretty?"

He smirks now and crawls closer. I watch him struggle because he is a bully guy. I laugh at him.

"Oh yeah Ha Ha laugh at the working man."

He crawls next to me and I am smashed to the wall.

"Come on!"

"Well here we are, we can stay like this or you can kiss me and we can carry on."

I give him a look and he chuckles. I continue crawling.

"You are sweaty and gross."

He laughs from behind me.
