The Fire Demon (Rodan x MGE)

Chapter 2: The Story of Rodan

Many years ago, during the first few years of the Current Demon Lord's reign, there was a male Ptera who was much stronger than any of his clan. He was shunned by the females, and hated by the males. He grew tired of this, and soon left his clan. There, he explored the lands, meeting others like him. Some he fought, others he befriended. Then came the Titan War.

      Largely forgotten, this was such a catastrophic battle, All humans and mamono who entered the crossfire perished. The lands were reshaped. Rodan fought along Queen Ghidorah, doing so to protect the one he called a mate. When the war was over, he was hunted down by the opposing side. His mate also turned against him. He fled back to his homeland, hiding near the volcano that stood dormant by his home. There he lay, hiding for thousands of years. Until they found him again.

     He fled to the top of the mountain, and tried to fight back. He was soon defeated again, and as the volcano began to erupt, they began to beat him down. Having tuned into the magic of the volcano, Rodan suddenly sensed the ground was giving way. He then pushed them all away from him. Just as the ground gave way. His wings too damaged, he fell into the the crevice. He landed hard, breaking his legs. So he could only lay there, broken, as the volcano exploded around him. He as lava poured over his body, he smiled. He thought he would die, and he accepted it.

     But centuries later he would awaken, lava still flowing over his body. He bursts form his lava prison, healed, into a changed land. The volcano had been erupting for centuries. Leaving the land desolate and cruel. He flew as fast as he could to the place he inc called home. There, a few surviving Pteras scrounged for food. In a fit of fury, he took off and flew back to the volcano. There, he smashes the side of the crater, forcing it to collapse in on itself, silencing the volcano. He then turned to the surface, only to come face to face with the Titans.

Fearing for his life, he took off, flying as far as possible, crossing the sea, before finally crash landing out of pure exhaustion on an island. This island had Pteras as well, but they were kinder. This island also had a volcano, but it was a more calm volcano, small eruptions happening every now and then. He enjoyed the island and its inhabitants. He lived there for many long years. But soon, the energy he had started to leave his body. He started to die. But upon his last few hours of life, he flew to the volcano, and dove inside, letting his body rest in the lava. And there, his skeleton has lain for thousands of years. His soul remained in the volcano, watching over the inhabitants of the island. When he saw the young Inferno pitched into the volcano, his fury was incredible. At the last moment before the young male hit the lava, Rodan sent some of his energy into the boy. This started his transformation into the next Rodan.

"Why do you ask me this?! Of course I know!"

"Then why do you think I'm like this?"

"No..."

"Yes. Rodan have me a little bit of his energy, saving my life. I am now what he is, an abomination to our species."

       A wind passes through, slightly dimming the veins in Inferno's wings. With a furious scream, Tuem launches herself at her son, intending to kill the young male. He just sighs, before using his wing and giving her a bitch slap with his left wing, sending her flying. She rights herself, before diving at him again, talons outstretched.

     He simply leans forward. And they spark against his horn like crests. He then grabs her foot, before slamming her into the ground. He then takes off before coming back down, slamming her further into the ground causing a crater. He then stands up, before taking off again. He starts to fly away.

"Wait!"

He stops and hovers in mid air. He turns to see his youngest sister.

"Where are you going?!"

"To Rodan's homeland."
