"Your Vampire" (Vampire OC x Reader)

Encounter (part 3)

Gulping your mind begins to race a mile a minute. His cold gaze penetrating through your (e/c) eyes reaching down to your very soul. You let out a slow breath, feeling every movement of your own body- from the rising and falling of your chest to the quicking beat of your heart making you feel the warmth from the blood flowing through your veins.

The vampire takes a step towards you, his tongue licking his upper lip. It was almost like he was teasing you- like a predator playing with his prey. Out of pure adrenaline, you turn on your heel, your feet shifting as you attempt to run away.

You couldn't get two feet before the vampire just seemingly APPEARED right in front of you. You are barely able to blink as your mouth becomes slightly agape. The vampire grabs your wrist pulling you towards himself as his other arm slithers around your waist, your back arches a bit as the vampire's face slowly inches closer.

The vampire's lips glimmer slightly as they part, "You think you can RUN?!" He asks as his eyebrows twitch with what you assume to be pure joy. "From a VAMPIRE!?" He begins to laugh, your hair raising slightly as you begin to realize that this might just be how you die. 

BANG

Everything seems to move in slow motion as a loud bang fills the air, the grip the vampire had on you disappeared as you begin to fall back, lights stream around as the shot rings out. Stumbling back you regain your composure and begin to steady yourself. You look behind you to see your overprotective brother, baring a really fancy shotgun. "Big brother..." you start out your eyes glimmering softly.

"So that's how it's going to be," The vampire says with light laughter, he was blown back, the shot hitting him through his shoulder. There was no blood though, almost as if the bullet that was supposed to lunge itself into his shoulder bounced right off. He lifts his head, his hair bouncing over his eyes. The cold crystal blue eyes of his gleam almost glowing as his grin turn to a straight frown.

Your brother grabs your arm and pulls you behind him. "Stay back!" He yells as he readjusts himself and shoots at the vampire again. The force of shooting makes your brother scoot back a little but the vampire himself was knocked back a few feet almost losing his footing. 

You look at your brother, his brown eyes unwavering as his gaze fixates on the vampire. His black hair shifts as his eyebrows furrow. Despite how overprotective he is, you really admired your brother, he always remains unwavering no matter the situation. He is so brave.

Another and yet another shot rings out, lights blowing from the gun each time he shoots. You grasp your hand over your chest, this situation is unsettling to you. Not only is the gun only pushing the vampire back- the vampire keeps getting closer and closer after each time he is shot.

"I will KILL your entire BLOODLINE!" The vampire yells as he bares his fangs, a grin gracing his near-perfect lips.

Your brother shoots at the vampire again, and you grab his arm. "He's....He's kinda hot though" you mutter, your (e/c) eyes shining suddenly as you stare at the vampire. a bit of drool graces your red-tinted lips.
