3rd person POV (point of view)

A man wearing a doctors coat and glasses stands before a young person patiently sitting in a chair. The room is a blinding white, and smells of disinfectant. A camera is placed pointing at the patient, documenting their behavior. The doctor places his hands above his knees and proceeds to bend down to the eye level of the (h/c) haired individual.

(Y/n)'s POV

(Y/n): 'What is the point of this?'

???: "you must have been treated awfully to do what you did...?"

(Y/n): 'I'm not going to talk to you. I'm getting sick of all of these questionings.'

???:"...(Y/n)?"

(Y/n): 'It doesn't matter now, it's already been done. You couldn't fix me beforehand, why do you think that will change now, Doc?'

He gives you a patient smile while You continue to stare forward with a blank expression, only mentally responding.

???:"I'm Danny, I'm the doctor in charge of your counseling."

(Y/n): 'There is no point in trying to figure me out, I think I Made myself pretty clear.

Danny: "So what happened to you? Can you walk me through it?"

You continue to ignore his questions, they only remind you of your sins. it's hard enough forgetting without everyone else reminding you. They never like it when you answer their questions honestly, anyway.

You smile.

Your mind flashes with visions of fire. You hear the screams and smell the burning flesh, until it all fades to white.

(Y/n): "Ah!"

Your eyes shoot open, your breathing rapid and irregular

(Y/n): 'Where am I...?'

You take notice you aren't where you're
supposed to be. You are sitting in the middle of a semi-dark room, only illuminated by a blue light from behind you.

(Y/n): "H-hello?"

You stand from your seated position and look around you. The room was nearly barren, only consisting of a few notable things. There was a landscape painting on the wall, a closed door in front of you, a large window behind, the chair you were on in the center, and-

(Y/n): 'A security camera?I must still be in the hospital...? This does seem familiar...'

You turn to face the only source of light in the boring room. The large window took up most of the wall, and something about the view it gave felt almost unnatural.

(Y/n): 'The moon is so big and blue... it's really pretty. It almost looks fake.'

You turn back toward the door, a small (f/c) satchel is resting on the floor in front of you.

(Y/n): 'My bag? Why would they give it back?'
