Chapter 1

The Visitor

Mouse island

Mouse 1: "Here he is I found him!"

Mouse 2: "You did, good...why is he heading into a cave?"

Mouse 1: "I don't know? "

Mouse 3: "What are you two doing? He goes into a cave and you're just standing here. Come on let's go after him."

Mouse 1: "Wonder what's up?"

Mouse 2: "I wonder that too, he's always ending up in some kind of trance."

Mouse 1: "You think this is because of one of his powers."

Mouse 3: "Hold up you two there's something glowing in the distance, be on your guard."

Mouse 1: "Woah!, gems and...what is that?"

New Mouse City

3 months later

Thea's P.O.V

These past 3 months have not been easy for the citizens of New Mouse City. No one knows why or how but crime has been on the rise and police can't stop it. The criminals that have been running around aren't the kind that gets busted for their lack of forethought. Instead, these guys had a clear goal, along with the means to achieve whatever their goal was. It began when celebrities started arriving in New Mouse City. Among the celebrities that arrived were Talia squeaks and Diva Parmesani, personal friends of Geronimo. They were big news when they and other celebrities arrived but the biggest news to sweep the island was the arrival of the King and princess of Whiskiristan. When they arrived reporters all over mouse island wanted to get in on the story, I and my brother included. When the king and his sister arrived they were happy to see us. The king was especially happy to see me since he had a crush on me. The purpose of the visit wasn't because of something important, the king had grown very curious about New Mouse City and made arrangements to come and visit. The king asked me to be his personal tour guide. It was embarrassing to see all the other reporters on the scene looking at us with envy, and confusion. The Daily Rat's own Sally Rassmousen and Simon Squealer were more upset than envious. The king and his sister saw the looks the other reporters were giving us, but paid no attention to them and asked again if we would give them a tour.  I agreed though I wouldn't do it without my brother. I didn't care what the Daily Rat thought of this but I did feel embarrassed from seeing the other reporters from different media groups looking at my brother and I. Most of the confusion came from the king asking two mice who were reporting on their arrival to give them a tour and not asking or having someone more qualified to do the job. The king wasn't about ruling the same way a regular king would rule. He was more into doing things his way, for example, roller skating around his castle. His style of ruling made some of the interactions he had with mice weird because they were not expecting a king to act so...non traditional. But I'm going a little off-topic, the point is their arrival caused a media frenzy. Reporters were eager to score an interview with the monarchs, especially Sally, and Simon. They weren't happy about us getting most of the attention from the royal siblings but I didn't care how those two felt.
