I was focused, determined, but easily distracted. I'll admit I let my love life get the best of me sometimes. I let one guy rock my whole world until it came crashing down and no one was there to save me. Sophomore year of high school I met a guy named Karson B. Moore. Karson stood 5 foot 9 with deep caramel skin and patchy facial hair. His small gap between his two front teeth is what actually caught my attention when he smiled a devilish smirk. I had no clue what I was in for but I knew I wanted it. He had a history of hurting females but I wasn't as sweet as he thought. I knew all the game because I use to run it. I was young, 16, I could finesse any situation to make it go my way. That would also be my downfall in the future. I believed nobody was supposed to get close to me, love me, or knock me off my track. Karson proved me wrong in so many ways. I lost all morals when it came to him and his dreamy hazel eyes. We didn't attend the same high school so it made it easier for us to do us in the beginning. It was like tunnel vision when I laid my big brown eyes on his. Even at 16, he was 17 so I started to think he knew more than I did. In all reality I taught him more than he could have ever known about the female species in general. That was first love type of relationship. Karson was a player, he crushed a lot and literally I mean a lot. We put in enough time throughout high school to get heavily equated with one another. Although our love was young, it was hot , it was cold, it was fun, and sometime even boring. Our attention span was so short with one another but we knew we were all each other wanted.
"Girlll please come with me I think you'll like him a lot he's very funny, your funny....so come on" Nyomi said. My best friend Nyomi could get me to walk on water if she was doing it with me. We kept a tight leash on each other. In other words, one never went anywhere without the other. We walked up to a strange car where there were 2 guys around the same age as us impatiently waiting. I put on a front as I slipped into the front seat and sucked my teeth. "Wassup boo?" I heard a not so deep voice come from the driver seat. "You were looking for me?" I quickly shot back before I blew my cover and started blushing. I can't lie Karson was a cutie, I could look in his eyes all day and see nothing but happiness. Now I wouldn't say he was my peace but he was my piece. I wish I could've looked in his eyes that day and witness all the troubles he would bring.  I couldn't focus on anything more than that gap that I planned on sticking my tongue through one day.

A year had went past and we weren't going strong at all but we refused to call it quits. We started using the L word about 6 months into what we called a situationship. It was hard to explain to our friends and family, so we didn't. We had a special bond with each other that was unexpected and unexplainable. We started as kids so we grew into each other causing our bond to gain strength that was out of this world. We were the best of friends, we cried, laughed, and even separated sometime but we never been as far apart as we were when I met Azhari.
Zhar was what the girls would call the plug. He was plugged in all over and he wanted little ole me. It had to be a catch but it wasn't. He was willing to give me all he has simply because he wanted to see me so happy and I started to actually love him. He did have a child which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I don't trust the mother of the child, she's the sneaky type. So maybe he was sent my way for a reason, to get away from her. He was with her when we first met. I don't believe some of his stories, I doubt he was single when he initially went for my attention. It wasn't my business because I quickly claimed my prize and cut any ties off between the two if it wasn't about the child.
