"Well they're headed to the docks. What do you think?"

"Oh gosh they're gonna drown him."

Sonia and Manic crawled through the ventilation system of Eggman's lair. "Gross." Sonia mumbled as she tried to get a spiderweb out of her hair. Manic snickered a bit before Sonia flared at him. "Oh don't even think about it."

"Sorry, sorry."

"You can't do this Eggman!" A familiar voice yelled

"Sonic?" Sonia and Manic questioned

"And why's that?" Eggman sneered

Sonia peeked through the vent, "He's in the robotisizer! Manic we need to do something!" Sonia exclaimed quietly as she turned to her brother

"Because this machine ruined the world Eggman!" Sonic shouted "Robotnik tore families apart, practically destroyed the world, he tried to kill my siblings and I when all we wanted was to find our mother and help people ." Sonic began to panic "If you do this you'll destroy the world," Sonic's chest tightened, "and it'll be all my fault!" Sonic shouted as Eggman pressed the button

"His fault?" Manic questioned "Why would it be his fault?"

"He's always been like this, even during the war, remember? He always beat himself up every time any of us almost go robotisized, or killed." Sonia reminded

"Right, like that time when he got the flu real bad and Sleet and Dingo almost drowned him. Honestly that one was more my fault, but he kept saying that it was his fault."

"WHY ISN'T WORKING?!" Eggman yelled angrily

"The machine didn't work?" Sonia looked back at Sonic. "Manic, Manic he's having a panic attack, we need to help him!"

"Wait, it's that Hedgehog from before..." Manic said as Shadow appeared in front of Eggman

"Let him out of the machine Eggman." Shadow ordered

"What?" Eggman questioned

"Did I stutter?" Shadow grumbled before pointing at Sonic "Let. Him. Out. Now." Sonia and Manic watched as Shadow got Eggman to open the machine and start trying to calm Sonic down. The door slammed shut "Open it."

"No."

Shadow rolled his eyes, picked Sonic up and yelled "CHAOS CONTROL!" Then vanished into thin air

Eggman angrily turned to Sleet and Dingo "WHY DIDN'T IT WORK?!"

Sleet and Dingo backed away from Eggman "W...We don't know."

Eggman took a breath "I'll fix the machine, go hunt down that hedgehog." Sleet and Dingo ran out of the room, leaving a furious Eggman behind. "No wonder all of Grandfather's files said those two were idiots." He mumbled as he grabbed a tool box, after a few minutes of working on the machine he yelled angrily "Of Course I messed up the wiring!"

"You missed a pedestrian, you wanna go back and hit her?" Manic asked as the van sped down a street

"Very funny Manic."

"I can see the docks!"

They reached the docks, just in time to see Sleet and Dingo, getting ready to throw Sonic into the deep sea. "No!" Sonia yelled as the bounty hunters tossed Sonic off the dock, and into the water

"There, now let's get out of here before the other two-" Sleet began before he saw Sonia and Manic

"I'll take care of Dumb and Dumber, you get Sonic!" Sonia ordered

Manic nodded and ran over to the dock "Don't worry Bro, I'm comin'!" Manic shouted before diving into the water. He resurfaced a few seconds later dragging Sonic onto the dock "C'mon bro, don't die on me!"

After a few seconds, Sonic coughed up some water. "Ugh, Man, did they have to knock me out. My head." Sonic muttered as he held his head

"Sonic!" Manic exclaimed as he hugged his brother "I thought we were gonna loose you Bro!"

Sonic chuckled "Nah, I'm still here Manic, don't worry."

After a while, Sleet and Dingo ran off, fearing the anger of a worried hedgehog princess who was furious because they threw her brother who can't swim into deep water, with the intention of killing him. Sonia ran over to Sonic and Manic. She hugged her brothers "We thought we were gonna loose you Sonic."

Sonic hugged his siblings "I appreciate your worry, but if you guys don't stop hugging me you're both gonna get sick."
